Megan S.: It does not shave the ice as it states. It barely crushes it into smaller pieces. It leaves the ice in big chunks. Is not worth the money.

jefpowers: This icemaker makes perfectly shaved ice in seconds. It’s the kind of ice that keeps drink colder for a longer time. I love this thing! It reminds me of the ice we used to get at the baseball field when we were kids when we ate snowcones all summer long. I’m going to try to find some snowcone flavoring. You need to get one of these dynamos.

Stefan BucherStefan Bucher: It’s a rickety contraption, this. It became significantly more useable once I added a rubber band as a makeshift gasket along the rim of the top part. Before that it requires way too much downward pressure to keep the unit in place. Might invest in a higher quality grinder eventually.
The quality of the grind is OK. I get occasional big chunks of ice with water ice cubes. It’s much better with cashew milk ice cubes.

Brian Lee: I really do like this ice shredder. It really works great except when you go to turn the handle the handle feels like it's really brittle and it's going to break off..
Well guess what? The handle broke off I cheaply fixed it and then it broke again so IDK
