JJ: This product works well, as an arborist I've used it quite a bit. I did upgrade to another silky brand saw for work but I bought this corona as a personal. I would give this a 5 star recommendation for the company who shipped it but they sent me the wrong product which made the scabbard for it I also ordered from the same company worthless. The shipping was quick, still receiving the wrong product has left me disappointed. I didnt want a folding saw for various different reasons. Now, when they reach out to me, which I hope is soon I have to go through the process of sending it back which I do not look forward to doing. Again the product itself is solid as I had used this model for 8 years. Update- company reached out to me and sent a replacement with a return label, they were prompt and want to fix the mistake. Which is all anyone can ask. So I'm changing the rating I previously gave them.

Blues: Just received the Corona 14" pruning saw (#7395) and couldn't wait to give it a trial run.

I have a sourwood that was taken down by a falling oak from a recent storm, and decided to see how this saw performed.

The sections I cut were all about 4 to 5 inches in diameter, maybe slightly over in a couple of spots. Some required a cut on the opposite side in order to relieve the saw getting pinched, but this was easily accomplished and the the Corona performed exceptionally well.

The only place where a different tool, (small hand pruner), would have been preferable was on the small leaf bearing branches that were too small and flimsy for effective cutting with this tool, even though it accomplished the task. But that was not why I purchased it...I bought it to cut limbs from roughly an inch to five or six inches in diameter. Anything more than that is gravy.

I hemmed and hawed about buying a Silky saw from the many available here on amazon, but didn't know if the occasional use justified the expense, so I figured I'd start out with a good quality but much less expensive saw like the Corona and pick up a Silky saw down the road. I'm glad I did.

WC: This is an excellent saw and works better than I had expected, I have had it for some time and it still makes short work of a 3 inch branch.
