S. A. Porteous: I love this saw (which is kind of sad when you think about it). It cuts so well. It cuts on the pull stroke, which is great when pruning. It cuts through larger limbs as if the limb was made of firm butter. I have has]d a few of these over the years and will keep purchasing these. The lock to open and close it prevents accidents. I’ve had to get more than one through the years because I did not take care of it. Please clean it after heavy usage and oil it every so often. This is the best pruning saw on the market.

Arthur Faraday: First of all, this thing cuts through wood with ease. Cutting the branches off a downed tree was extremely satisfying with this tool. It's very lightweight, would make a great addition to a camping backpack.
The handle didn't sit 100% comfortably in my hand, I did end up with a small blister after using it for about an hour with bare hands. It wasn't uncomfortable to use, though, just a little rough where my thumb was resting on it.
Would absolutely recommend this at the price.

rayray: Excellent saw. Cuts thru hard wood really easily. For reference, I'm a 58 year old woman who had a chainsaw mishap in 2022 and spent 3 days in the hospital. I've put off trimming my trees since then and even hired a company to cut limbs last time because I no longer want to touch a chainsaw. Since my accident I no longer have full use of my hands because of numbness so I was concerned about being able to have strength to cut through hard wood. I didn't need to have even normal hand strength. This saw cuts really easily through hard mango wood. It went through avocado limbs like through butter. I took down 30' limbs in a couple of minutes. So easy. I highly recommend this for everyone- it's much easier than hauling out the chainsaw

camping with I think I'll go for something a bit more durable. This saw works but don't try to go to town with it on some big tree. Of course if you were in a survival situation, this would be a hell of a bonus, as would food and shelter. Ha! Not bad for the money.
