Henry: Very useful. Many categories of recipes that are easy to follow with plenty of pictures and understandable. Necessary to know information about how Einkorn flour is used and I have used the bread recipes but looking through nearly every page I saw things I want to try. If you care for your health this is the flour I would only buy.

Wooly Bully: My husband seems to be tolerating Einkorn well and I am enjoying my sourdough starter with the recipes in this book. At first I was substituting einkorn for white flour in traditional recipes. Too complicated to increase water, extend rise time, etc. these recipes make baking easier. I splurged on the spiral binding and am happy I did

Shelby: Nothing like getting a cookbook straight from the person who owns Jovial. The recipes were perfect. Lots of instruction. The levains are perfect as well as freshening up the sourdough starter. I love this flour!

cybervoyager: If you love EINKORN grain and use EINKORN for baking this book is a must have.. I bought it glean more recipes using Einkorn grain and its full of great recipes and written and published in a great format.. and the author you can tell loves the subject to, so its thumbs up for this book a definately must have for EINKORN LOVERS.

Lady VibartLady Vibart: I bought this over 12 months ago and it's so well thumbed and splattered with sourdough I may have to buy a replacement soon! It's a well thought out and very clearly illustrated baking book for Einkorn which is not the easiest of flours to cook with since it has low gluten, so doesn't hold Its shape well free form. Carla describes her reason for falling for Einkorn ( her daughter's ill health from modern wheat intolerance) and then goes through stage by stage with photos at every level, of how to make and then refresh a starter, how to work the dough - it needs little kneading, and then step by step instructions for how to use it to make French Batards loaves, Ciabatta, sandwich loaves, pastry, cakes/ cookies, crepes,muffins, tortillas, pretzels etc and many other delicious recipes, and some surprisingly simple sourdough and non sourdough loaves. She also helpfully gives you the option of using yeast to make the ferment etc for sourdough if you don't have a starter, which I think is probably encouraging for those new to baking bread or maybe new to sourdough bread. She uses both cup and gram measurements which I find helpful. Cups really don't do it for me I'm afraid but if...
