RoweRowe: I read all the reviews on this water heater. Seems like some people love it, some loathe it. Normally I don’t buy things with polarizing reviews, however I liked the design and the ability to adjust it as well as its simplicity. I am using it as a supplemental heater for my kitchen sink as the sink is the farthest point from the main water heater and it’s at least one minute of running water before it gets hot. That’s wasteful so I wanted to try this heater out.

I’ll start off by saying this heater is on the cheaper side, quality wise. The fittings they provide are almost pot metal and they feel light which is not a good sign with metal plumbing fittings. Right out of the gate, I tossed their fittings and their pressure line. They only provide you with one line and it’s braided but very flimsy. The slightest twist and it will kink! No thanks!

Just know that right out of the gate, you will need to go to the hardware store. If you are connecting it to your sink like I did, you will need the following:

Male to male 1/2” NPT about 2” long
* 1/2” Female to 3/8 male shut off valve
* 1/2” Female to 3/8 Female...

curtis d.: I am a licensed contractor and this unit is very easy to install. It did not last 10 months when it quit working. I looked around for a reset button and saw that there was a whole burnt in the side of the unit. I took the cover off and looked and one of the wires got so hot it burned in half and melted the cover. There is no where to find product support or contact seller when I researched the site. Do not buy this product it is junk and did not even last 11 months and I feel like it easily could have started a fire.. I repeat do not buy fire hazard!

Duke of London: I found this a bit tricky to attach the lines , the instructions are not great. If I had not had a lot of experience in plumbing and such I'm not sure I could have installed it. I had to go buy 1/2 to 3/8 line adapters and that worked out. This comes with a drain line from the pressure relief valve that I found out I had to install it and drill a hole to run it out because it drips a bit no matter what I did, nothing major just a drop or two here and there but would cause problems if it were not installed and routed outside. As of now it's been in a while , it heats very fast and holds the temperature amazingly well and it gets scalding hot with no problem.
I hope it lasts a long time. The temp. dial has no set markings on it so you have to just learn where to turn it in order to be on the desired temp. marking it with a marker or something.

Mike: i love the ease of install, and use, i dont care for the wide degree of temp for it to turnthe heat back o. It clicks on at 139 and off at 171. Way too much space in between. good for economy ,bad for needing hot hot water. When its on 171 its good, at 139 its just warm. needs a closer thermostat adjustment
