Newspark50: I bought the 4 gallon size so it Just barely enough room under my sink at the cottage. Water is very hot at max setting, so had to dial it down a bit. Probably the 2 gallon size would have suffice but just want to make sure there's enough supply to wash dishes, etc. Better too much than not enough as there's not a big price difference. Takes about 20 to 30 minutes from initial start to get to temperature. Only draw back is the cord is a little bit short could have used another couple of feet more. Happy with the purchase. Like the fact that you can plug it into a standard 1120 v outlet. So no electrical work require.

Heavon F.Heavon F.: This water heater arrived quickly. It installed relatively easily. It does not get very hot. It gets warm. It is enough to wash your hands. And a couple of items. Past that it is not going to stay warm. Not what I expected. I thought it would heat the water as the water ran through it but it really has just a tiny tank maybe five or 6 gallons in there which is why it’s so large. Ate up hall the cannot space. It needs its own power obviously.

Michel Lalonde: Exactly what you need to have hot water rapidly. My hot water heater is so far away from my kitchen, that it took about 2 min in winter to have decent hot water. This heater is doing its job. I was ordering a two gallon heater change my mind for the 4 gallons after making a test. I calculated the amount of water running before obtaining hot water. It took 2.5 gallons, so after 1 gallon of running the hot water would have been lukewarm. Don’t hesitate to go with 4 gal or more.

Johnad1: The heater is totally "as advertised." It is a nice, compact unit and does what it is intended to do. Our regular hot water heater is so far from the kitchen sink that we were wasting a couple of gallons of water every time we needed to get hot water to it.
My problem was -- not with the heater -- but with the connections. I finally had to go to a large plumbing wholesaler to find a "splitter" so I could get hot water from the heater to both the kitchen faucet and the dishwasher. I never did find one with a shut-off. We are very pleased now that it is in. Works great.

My old tank was 6 gals so I ordered this 6 gal point of use water heater.
It took a bit of maneuvering but we got it into the space where the old tank had been.
* make sure to turn your switch for your hot water tank back on once it's hooked up.
I have it set to the hotest setting and it is HOT.
I can have a shower, wash my hair, shave my legs and still have enough hot water to wash a load of dishes.
I have been using it for a month and never run out of hot water.
I live alone so with 2 people you would have to ration the hot water.
It is ideal for a tiny home or rv.
100% recommend!!
