if you carry it in your truck/car, I would suggest putting thread lock on the nuts for the wheels, they tend to vibrate loose over time as do all floor jacks

George: Bought this to work on my car so I don't have to haul my dads 3 ton capacity steel jack over to my place.

This one obviously isn't going to be as durable or have the same capabilities as that one, but you really only need a jack of a capacity about 3/4 of the total weight of the vehicle. So given I drive cheap sedans and coupes, a 1.5 ton is adequate. A truck or a larger sedan, you might run into trouble but a mid size sedan or smaller you should be OK.

It is very easy to carry around. I can carry it quite some distance one handed, heavier jacks I sometimes need to throw them in a wheelbarrow to get them over the dirt road and lifting absolutely requires both hands. The handle on the side is definitely a nice touch. The lift handle is easy to install and to remove when needed.

The one thing I don't like is the lift height could be better. I had to put an plate from weight lifting machine on the lift pad to get an extra inch or so so I could get jackstands placed at the side of the car. So it's something that can be worked around if you need that extra space(jackstands on the subframe would have been in the way of my work), so it doesn't ruin it, just makes it...

mark: Works great so far...very light and it jacks up pretty quickly.
Only thing that could be an issue for some is that it doesn't jack up very high so even for small crossover CX5 I can barely get the tire off the ground...on a car should have no issues. Also a plus I found is the handle can be disconnected can be used as a breaker bar.

jwebb: I live in a townhouse and use this to swap my wheels when I do autocross. I have used it about 6 times with no issues.

It is much lighter than other jacks which makes it easier to store. There is a thumb screw to attach the handle so it comes off and goes on easily. I am not the biggest fan of the rubber pad on the lifting plate because the way my car is designed, the jack point digs into the pad and causes it to pop out of position but for other vehicles, I think it would be fine. I will likely buy one of the grooved hockey pucks or make my own to better fit my car.

David F. Jackson: OMG this beats a scissors jack any day of the week. I was compelled to purchase one as a DIYer who witnessed a AAA worker jack a car off, remove the wheel, and install the top brake bolt to the caliper that had come out causing the caliper to jam up inside the wheel. all in all it took roughly 90 seconds. since then, being a delivery driver as well, i've blown out 4 tires just nicking curbs here and there (it happens more often than you think being my job requires me to be on the road pretty much all day every day). This jack is compact, yet very sturdy. This thing can lift ur car up and have you changing your tire in no time. The slowest part about changing a tire now, or doing any sort of work that requires the wheel to be removed, is how quickly you can unscrew the lug nuts. I LOVE THIS THING WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WHO WANTS PEACE OF MIND WHILE DRIVING FREQUENTLY!
