Jess: This little machine is so powerful. I put day old bowls caked with banana bread batter inside and it washed them sparkling clean! I'm very impressed.

I got this dishwasher because I'm renting my home and my tap is not compatible with a hook up. I needed a dishwasher with a holding tank. And because my sink is in an awkward place (against a wall) I run the water into a bucket and dump it down the toilet when the cycle is complete. I hate doing dishes and with 4 kids it feels like I'm never caught up. All the little bowls, cups and utensils. I can load up, add water, run it, and prep dinner/cook while it does it's thing. I run the rapid cycle for most things and the long one for really stuck on stuff. I'm so happy I got this.

Lauren AndersonLauren Anderson: It’s the perfect size for my small kitchen and works great. Has both a quick 40 minute cycle and a longer 2 hour setting. Fits about 2 days worth of dishes for 1 person, minus pots and pans. The 2 hour setting leaves the dishes incredibly clean. Not super quiet, but not loud.
I have a weird faucet that doesn’t work with any hoses I’ve found, so the top fill is an amazing solution.

D.: Easy to set up and needed very little space. The water tubes are excellent quality and its really doesn't make much noise at all. 6 to 9 mugs fit in nicely and the rack for cutlery is just the right size. An efficient little cleaning box. Very portable. Well made.

JamesJames: Had to do alittle trouble shooting because I’m not good at reading instructions lol. When you fill it up make sure it’s on first and then pour the water until you hear it beeping, once the faucet icon on the display screen disappears it’s ready to press start, for some reason I couldn’t figure it out because I didn’t read the instructions right. Anyways it works great I love it and it fits perfect on my small counter top. Doesn’t fit the very larger dinner plates which was a bummer but if you read the description it does say 10” Max. I’m just happy I don’t have to hand wash my pump parts and bottles so I take it as a win.

Jade: First off, I want to say I love Comfee brand appliances. They were originally designed for commercial use, and if used properly, residential customers can have high expectations. In almost 2 years I have never had a single link. You need to make sure the drain hose obviously drops lower than the level of the dishwasher.. common sense. Even though it has a pump to eject all used water, it’s not going to pump straight up. That’s just absurd. Next, Comfee gives you a hose tighter thing that you need to firm twist into place where the hose connects to the dishwasher. With out that 10 second action, yep, you will have leaks.. I hope I don’t have to explain why.

I have read reviews concerning suds… ummm… dishwasher detergent creates zero suds by default. If you have suds, you’re using regular dish detergent and not dishwasher detergent. Think people, think. Also, do not use dishwasher detergent pods. They never dissolve completely in countertop dishwashers, especially if you’re using express washing. Just get the gold old fashioned liquid Cascade detergent. Works instantly and as a bonus, will save you money.

Ken B.Ken B.: I've had this dishwasher six weeks; I've done many wash cycles, have used four of it's five wash programs. Overall, I'm pleased; it works well (and I love that I actually have a dishwasher).

Plain and simple: It's a present day dishwasher. It's got the typical variety of wash cycles common to average modern dishwashers. It's just like a big one, made as well, only smaller.

Mine's on top of my medium size refrigerator. I hook it up to sink to fill (each wash), it drains into sink; this arrangement works great- faster and easier than filling it manually from the top. (I don't find screwing hose on/off faucet a chore; it's easy and quick.)

Good things to know:

1) A small dishwasher uses a small amount of detergent: Detergent receptacle on door (inside) says "6 grams" (about 1/2 tbsp); this is the correct amount; it works well. I found using more than 6 grams seems to thicken the water causing the top sprayer to not spin; this doesn't happen using the recommended 6 grams. (FYI: An average detergent pod is around 3x too much for this machine. If you have pods, break them open and divide into 1/3s.)

2) The top spinner doesn't spin right away. It might...

Free WillyFree Willy: The media could not be loaded.  It's a cute machine but... because it uses soo little water, what I forgot completely is of that 5L of water, it uses that to both wash and rinse. My biggest regret was buying Cascade Platinum pods when they were on sale.

Even on the long 2+ hour cycle, the pods do disolve but don't smell or taste like they were completely rinsed off. I find myself hand rinsing to remove the soap residue tastes it leaves behind. I then tried Cascade x2 Gel and only used a mere drop and it still finished the cycle with a soapy like taste.

I think I'll either dilute the Gel to 50/50 or buy generic powder which is harder to find. Or return the machine. It's cute but I need something a bit more comprehensive. Plus the Quick cycle even with the Air Fresh option turned on and left overnight, the dishes are still wet in the morning. I have learned to place all cups in on an angle or else the divot side of the bottom of the cups will hold water when it finishes any cycle including the long 2:40hr cycle.
