tiredandoldtiredandold: Yes, the unit is small. It works for us since we are used to having one and I wasn't looking for something to take up floor space like a traditional portable dishwasher. As you can see we have it on the edge of our sink, works great for us to just use the spray nozzle to fill it and then it drains into the sink. This would be perfect for using for baby bottles and things you may need more frequently than your other dishes. For my husband and I it decreases stress and frees up our time, our kitchen sink is in desperate need of a remodel and has a super shallow sink. For us, it's helpful to throw the silverware and our small prep dishes in here while we hand wash the large stuff. The second photo shows the results of using a Cascade Platinum pod, this is post second wash ... trying the fruit setting now to try and clear this mess our, glad I caught it before the soap dried on my dishes. When I ordered this I purchased some Finish Quantum pods, they worked great. I may try liquid when I return the Cascade I purchased. Amazon Customer: I have a regular size dishwasher, but I live alone now, and it is too expensive to run the full-size dishwasher for the few dishes I use each day. This is the perfect size. I load dishes during the day and run it after my last meal of the day. It is very quiet. The dishes come out very clean and I am confident it is more energy efficient and uses less water than washing dishes by hand.

As for being good for small spaces, that is a matter of opinion. It is too tall to fit beneath an upper cabinet. It is actually 18" tall. Even if it was 17 or 17 1/2", you would not be able to fill it if it was underneath a cabinet unless you hook it up directly to your faucet. This was not a problem for me, since I have a big kitchen. I purchased a small stand to put it on. However, now I have to drain it into a bucket because it is too low and too far away from the sink to run the drain hose to the sink. A minor inconvenience.

The other thing that is a bit misleading is that it states 3 "cups" of water. I read the reviews and knew before I bought it that this doesn't mean 3 8-ounce cups. It comes with a pitcher to fill it and it takes 3 pitchers to fill the dishwasher for the...

Crazycat911: Why did I wait so long? Finally my best friend bought it for me for wedding present. She's smarter than I am. Anyway, things I wanted to know when I was thinking about it. 1. It will do pans, just not your long handled pans. Did large sauce pan with silverware drawer still in. 2. Can do spatulas, long spoons, etc. in the bottom. 3. Here in NM dry enough that if you open the door and let the dishes cool down enough to pick up (they are HOT), they are dry. 3. Read that it will do the insert for both the crock pot and electric pressure cooker and I believe that to be true, haven't tried but sure looks like it will. This probably won't do the big oval crock pot insert (but if you have one I'd try it).

Learning curve to get everything in, but there is with a full sized one too. First few loads weren't very big but getting better each time.

The suction cup does not work on our ceramic sink. It still works and no water comes out of the sink and the hose doesn't flop around, just sits there in the bottom of the sink.

HeatherHeather: I haven't given it a whirl yet, so I will have to update this later. But, as it currently stands, I was delivered a used item. The filter for the tank intake is dirty and there is water all over the inside of the plastic lining. As I purchased brand new, not gently used, I'm not thrilled.
