某国防職: ハンドルが滑りやすいため、テープ(テーピングテープでもガムテでもビニテでもなんでも)巻いといた方が良い。
かなり嵩張るため、装具装着時は考えて着けた方が良い。

Buddymadn: This was a lot bigger than I was expecting which isn't a bad thing, it is sharp AF. I'm not disappointed at all, This definitely would be considered a deadly weapon. If this was needed to defend ones self I sure wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of this

Bill J.: Lightweight! Tough! Well worth the money.

Hardrock: This is a serious tool and make no mistake as a combat weapon it would be very effective, devastating in fact. It has weight to the head and whether you use the blade or spike side it will leave a very recognizable mark on the target. The handle is the perfect length for a good swing chopping through tree trunks, branches, heavy underbrush clearing a path or removing assaulting limbs from an attacking enemy. The handle if it were to get damaged is replaceable, it comes fairly sharp but you can tone it up to your personal preference level. I have other hawks but I think this one stands out, if you were picking individuals to be on your team for a street hockey game, this guy would be your first choice. I don't throw mine but you can throw this hawk but this thing is more of a close quarter weapon and it reminds me of a medieval battle axe, this thing will breach doors in an emergency situation and give a secure feeling if approached by a bear on the trail. It is not a compact, lightweight item you put in your pack, so if that is what you are looking for choose another model. My only negative about this item is I don't like the blade guard that comes with it, it works but I haven't...

JS31337: I own several tomahawks, most of which I throw for fun and a few that I pack into the wilds of British Columbia on my frequent hikes and camp outs. While I like this hawk, it doesn't really excel or have a strong role in either of those categories and I'm not going to go down the "tactical" or "zombie" use case scenario as that's purely ridiculous. However, for what it's worth I simply think it's a cool hawk and the price is excellent for what you get.

As a thrower:
- Very very heavy compared to a real throwing hawk like a 3J.
- It's long, and that combined with it's weight makes the spin slow so you need to be quite far from your target to get one full rotation in. 2 Rotations and you're 25 feet from your target which is not ideal in my mind.
- It's weight makes it somewhat unbalanced and wobbly in the air.
- When it hit's it sticks very nicely though and both ends are very sharp unlike the SOG Fasthawk which has a very dull spike.

As a bush hawk:
- It chops great but I always fear I'm going to stick myself in the face with the spike on the back.
- It's heavy and the sheath, while well made of Kydex doesn't have any attachment points or mechanism...

Brent L: I have to say, I mostly purchased my first one of these half on a lark. See, I have been wanting to get something along these lines for a while, but most of what I found was over priced, crap, or both. I mean, a friend bought the SOG tomahawk and while normally I really like SOG stuff, I hated their tomahawk.

I had read good things about this one, saw it for a good price, and figured the best way to check it out (as no one local had them in store) was to go for it. I was NOT disappointed.

First off, I find it quite nicely balanced. It is definitely a two hander in size (handle is a foot and a half long overall) but well balanced. One thing I like is that while the handle is some sort of resin, it is attached to the head by a pair of bolts. In my set of security heads I found one that can remove these bolts, so if I wanted to (or the handle broke) I could easily put it onto a wood one.

While I don't know about throwing it (personally, I am not into throwing them) it IS a very capable chopper. It holds its edge pretty darn good (better than I expected honestly). As well, the tail spike can get the job done too.

The only real issue anyone might have is the...

Luciferscribe: First and foremost, I do not think this is a replacement for a proper tomahawk for normal every day use, wilderness adventuring, or SHTF/wastelands. I Firmly believe that a proper traditional hawk with wooden handle and friction fit head is superior in every practical way.

It should also be said that I consider the Tomahawk to be one of the most superior close range melee weapons ever invented. In tight spaces and in the right hands, it is absolutely devastating and terrifying.

However, as a weapon/tool of war, or as a zombie slaying weapon, this weapon - at it's price point, feels ideal.

This Tomahawk is fast, strong and will chop, pierce, hook, and smash anything you swing it at.

Pros -
Can do almost everything a normal hawk can do.
Well constructed, the handle feels very strong, and the head feels more than adequate.
Out of the box, it is knife sharp and needs no modification.
I would not hesitate to take this into zombieland
or force entry situations I have a feeling this could make getting into a location to scavenge for food or slay zombies quite easy.
Every inch of the Tomahawk is meant to be a weapon, this is no less true for...

Weyland Smith: I'm not one of the guys who spends $100+ on very many things I consider to be "simple" items. I may be on the verge of blasphemy for some but I don't a live in a world in which I pay over $100 for a tomahawk....after all, it is just a tomahawk. Sorry to all the true backyard warriors out there for offending your tactical sensibilities. I received this product and promptly took it apart to further sharpen the edges, paint the metal OD green and then used blue Loc-tite to re-attach the handle to the head. This is not a full tang axe...the metal only goes slightly past the lower attachment point. This tomahawk will mainly be used for ATV duty during hunting season. I didn't buy it to complete my end-of-the-world armory. It seems very durable and it was inexpensive. Both things that I like....

One thing I didn't like was the slippery handle. After a couple of licks at a piece of pine I knew I had to fix that. I didn't want to invest the time it takes to stimple the plastic (like the Glock guys do to their pistol grips) so I ran down to the local sporting goods store and picked up a roll of Easton batters tape. I wrapped the handle with the tape and the slippery handle was fixed...
