Marisa: I fell in love with Chet and Bernie when I first read Dog On It after receiving it secondhand, and I'm so glad I did. Chet is my favorite literary canine sidekick and he's hilarious. The author knows exactly how a dog's brain works and Chet and Bernie are a modern day Holmes and Watson, if Watson was a dog.

Amazon Customer: These books are my entertainment, they leave me with a smile on my face. Having been a dog owner and a big dog lover I can see Chet and his antics clearly in my mind. Bernie is a hero as a person but especially for how much he loves Chet.

Longhair: Normally I wait for the paperback of a series to be published, but with Chet and Bernie I have to get the hardback. End of story (as Chet would say). This one is one of my favorites since Chet and Bernie stay together the entire time. They’re at their best as a team. My one mild complaint is the editing. I don’t remember this being an issue in earlier books, but there are some grammatical and continuity gaffs here. Also, Mary Astor was in Maltese Falcon, not Ingrid Bergman. However, this is still a five-star book. Goes without mentioning (Chet fans will know from whom I borrowed). Case closed.

Renate Geering: Lots of action, an interesting group of "bad guys", and Chet the Jet is in his element.
I hope that there will be more adventures for Chet and Bernie in the future.

Mary Laiuppa: If you love detective mysteries this book is for you. If you love dogs this book is for you. If you love both, you've hit the jackpot. Read them all, any order you like but I think best from the first to the most recent. If you really want a reason, it's because Quinn has a gift for channeling how a dog thinks. Well, how a very special dog thinks. How? Any other author would write: "I couldn't wait for...for whatever was going to happen next." But that is not what Quinn writes or what Chet thinks. Chet says "I couldn't wait for...for whatever was going to happen after now." Because that is exactly how dogs think; how dogs perceive the world. After twelve books, Chet and Bernie are still fresh and entertaining, but Quinn has certainly solidified the thoughts of his canine narrator, unreliable as he is. But that is half the fun. Knowing Chet is wrong about an observation but eventually it all works out in the end.
Whether you have a reader of detective fiction, of dog books or just someone that likes a good read on your Christmas gift list, this could be the perfect gift you've been looking for. No problem with supply chains either, just USPS so order soon.
