joywn: Easy to use, good feel in my hand and my large dog was ok with it the first time I tried it just for a second at a time, he is not used to having his nail grinded. Also the clippers are nice quality and have a swing over shield so you dont clip too much. Made me feel alot better knowing how much to clip for large dogs. I was confused about the interchangeable clear tip cover at first I thought it wasnt fitting, then after seeing some vids I see you have to take the white tip cover off first. Was variable speed. Good items for the price

Rei👹: I have an American xl bully and his nails are superrr thick, it is very good with his nails when applying a touch of pressure. It grinds very fast. I’m not sure what why the reviews about it not working on large dogs are negative as it works on my dog and he is an extra large breed. The size of perfect in the hand I can use different angles when filing his nails. It’s very safe and a good value for money probably the best dog nail file on the market, there is no vibration and if you dog is scared then slowly introduce them as my dog was a little hesitant until I showed him it is okay and safe for him. One I started with encouragement it worked really well and he sat there with no fuss. He is normally very fussy with clippers but will sit there with treats. By the time I could clip on nail with the clippers I can file a whole paw very fast and good. If your dog is scared at first, use positive reinforcement rather than giving up as they need to be taught is it okay and safe, that they can trust you.

Die Leistung ist sehr gut, die Intensität lässt sich stufenlos einstellen. Wir schleifen meist auf mittlerer Stufe, mit der Zeit kann die Stufe erhöht werden, dann ist man schneller. Das Gro nehme ich mit einer Krallenschere ab, und der Rest wird geschliffen. Kein Blut mehr, super 👍

Die Krallenschere im Set kann man sich sparen. Zuerst fand ich sie super, weil sie groß ist, leicht, scharf und einfach für kleine Hände zu bedienen. Allerdings ist sie nach zwei Mal benutzen direkt stumpf, also nicht zu gebrauchen.

Aber der Schleifer ist top. Er ist schön leise (je nach Intensität), sehr handlich und durch das Drehrad gut zu bedienen. Die Kappen stören uns nur, aber schön sie zu haben.

Schön wäre es, wenn man die Drehrichtung ändern könnte, so hakt es leider wenn ich die linke Seite der Kralle schleife (Rechtshänder). Aber das ist vllt auch nur Übungssache. Einfacher wäre es, wenn man umstellen könnte.

Bisher hält der Akku sehr gut, ich kann mehrfach intensiv schleifen, ohne dass die...

Patch: I have a dog who reacts wildly to having his claws cut, and it's been a chore for myself and his groomer--so much so that I asked the vet to do them once! We did all the 'gradual getting used to the clippers', and the 'just make the noise and don't cut his actual claws', an the 'treats for every snip'; made zero difference. He hated it from day one.
Since he's used to being groomed though, I thought that these might work, being about the same size and noise as clippers. He was a bit suspicious for the first few days, as I turned them on and touched his leg, then his foot, then his toes...but what d'ya know, he let me do two claws, first time I actually dared try!
He wasn't ecstatic about it or anything, but he certainly tolerates it without the whole wild struggle to be free before you've even done a single trim. He even sniffs it a bit whilst it's doing the job. I'd say he's more bothered by my holding his foot than the actual grinder doing its job.
So these have been a roaring success.
I wasn't sure that they'd actually take that much off, as I tried them on my own nail (like you do!), and they seemed a bit ineffectual. But with the clear guard on (to rest the claw...

Landon: I was at a loss for words when my dog let me use this on him. I generally need to muzzle him when clipping his nails. It was a lengthy process the first time. After that, its a breeze and done in under 10 minutes. I waited until he was almost fully asleep. Then I just started massaging his toes so he was ok with me touching him. Then I would play gently with his nails. Next, I touched the grinder to his toes (NOT ON) one by one. I did this for a whillllle because he can get really nasty about his nails being clipped so I didn't want to ruin his feelings about the grinder. Once a bad experience is implanted its a done deal. After just gently touching him with the power off, I held the grinder in my hands where he could see it, gently touching my own nails. I turned it on and as ridiculous as this sounds (if you knew my dog, you'd get it) I started petting the grinder and saying Nice grinder (LOL). Note: This grinder is nearly silent on high. It's a soft whirring sound. Not jarring or whiny at all! Love that. He was still dozing in and out, so I took my chance on his hind nails. I put it on a low setting and gently touched his nail with it while massaging his toes to keep him calm....
