Lisa Jennifer: I wasn't expecting it to end the way it did. I thought it was a he as a killer, not a she! Always amazing work! Loved it! Getting to read the next one! So excited!

Aimee Worth: Like all of the previous books, this is another great mystery. I didn’t know who the murderer was until the end. There is enough suspense to keep you hooked. I always look forward to the characters in this series. The writing makes you feel like you are there with the characters. It’s realistic with the dialogue and the characters are entertaining. This is a must read even if you have never tried any of the previous books!

Kim Sikorsky: I enjoyed this book much more than some of her recent books in this series. Too many recipes. I keep reading the series because I have and read every one up to this. I wait for the paperback version.

Christie: I have loved this series from the first book. It got a rocky patch a few books ago when Ross came into the picture but now it is great again. Hannah is such a smart, strong character and I love how she helps to solve the case. After the ending of this book, I can't wait to read the next one.

Kindle Customer: Another great story, good pace to it and only worked out at the end who done it. I liked the change in scenery, Sally and Dick's restaurant. Spend a lot of time in the kitchen, their town seems to run on food! Nice to find out a bit of Hannah's past. Surprise at the end, hope it will be resolved in the next book. Recommend a read

MrsAMW: Another engaging Hannah Swenson murder. This whipped along at a good pace and included all the usual characters. A great and easy read. I’d never of thought that after picking up the first Hannah Swenson mystery 16 years ago whilst on holiday in Canada from London, UK, I’d still be looking forward to reading them now. Thanks Joanna Fluke.

Jessica: Let me start by saying that I love the Hannah Swenson books. My foray into baking began with her first book. I have tried numerous recipes and they have all been amazing. I have also become personally invested in Hannah's life (probably a little too much, according to my husband) and eagerly await the next installment.
This book, however, is a whole different story...literally! I am on chapter 20 and I have no idea what's going on in this book. There are so many errors and contradictions in the actual story. Here's an example from Chapter 20: "Hannah took a deep breath as she got off the elevator and walked down the hallway towards Dick's bar.". TWO paragraphs later: "The elevator gave a ding, and Hannah closed her Murder Book..." The NEXT paragraph: " Even though it was only one floor, the elevator seemed to take forever to get to down to the lobby. At last it reached the ground level and the doors opened. Hannah stepped off...". So we start the chapter with Hannah getting off the elevator and then 2 paragraphs later she's back on the elevator. Did we go back in time 30 seconds? This isn't the only glaring error in the story or the timeline in the story but I don't have...
