Amazon Customer: I purchased a 2-pack of this camera. One works good and the other one only takes 8 pictures and then stops. I purchased from Amazon on September 27, 2023.

Pootsca: We received our cameras but neither of them worked properly however the company has since replaced both cameras and the new ones they sent are working excellent. They are small and very compact. Take great pics. Thanks so much for replacing the damaged ones.

Rob P: I have the cameras set for doing a burst of 3 photos and 1 short video, every 5 seconds once motion is detected, so there are a lot of features and settings available. Rarely have blank photos from wind blowing leaves. Excellent photo quality and night vision, especially the night videos. My bucks show up after dark so this is important. This is the second set of 2 that I bought - the first ones are about 4 years old. One of them lost its IR lighting for night shots, but apart from that, they've been tough cameras. I use the EverReady Ultimate lithium batteries (4) which last about a year for me.

@@@Bruins@@@: These tiny cameras are fantastic. They are simple to use, have excellent picture and video quality, and have a longer battery life than other cameras I have used. They are fantastic for the price.

Sohier: Update - customer service has been great to deal with and they exchanged the faulty cameras I got for new ones that are much much better optically, I haven't tried the motion trigger yet, but the optics were the biggest issues for me and it is worlds better. Improved my rating to 4 stars for customer service and a non-faulty lens on the replacement.
--- Original Review ---
I love the size, weight and general design of these. I've only had them for a day now, but they were straight forward to get setup, motion sensors seem to work well, the interface is straight forward (though a little clunky to use). The biggest failing of these is the lenses, both cameras have an very soft focus in the centre of the frame, the outside of the centre 30% or so is sharp, but for middle is only sharp when the subject is less then 2 feet from it.
--- 10 Day Update ---
10 days of ownership, and its more then just the optics that let these cameras down. The motion trigger, even when set to high, missed many triggers. I used a dog, a drone, a cat, and myself to test it, it achieved 50% trigger rate.
Due to the optics and missed trigger events I’ve requested a replacement...

Max: EDIT: This company has been very responsive to my issues with these cameras and has offered a full return/refund or replacement. I will be looking for cameras elsewhere but perhaps I just got a bad batch, it seems that others have had better luck with these.

Bought these cameras in late November of 2022, they're relatively easy/straightforward to set up. Had both deployed in my backyard for a couple of months to see what wildlife passes through at night. The picture/video quality is just okay, but better than other similarly-priced cameras. No real issues with trigger speed/detection that I noticed. These do only record .avi files, but they can be converted to mp4 after the fact.
The main issue is the longevity. One stopped holding a charge even with fresh batteries, I popped it open, no water damage but I didn't expect any. The other had started taking shorter and shorter videos at night with video freezing on the last 2-4 seconds (not an SD card issue), and replacing the batteries with fresh ones did not help. I deployed these in Florida so cold weather isn't much of a factor. The most recent time I deployed it, it just stopped recording entirely, and I'm not...

Rednick: The camera itself if a nice size. Seems quality built. User interface is strait forward and does what you expect it to do.
I live in Canada and deal with cold temperatures in the winter. I have a few complaints or points to be aware of if purchasing. Also the points the manufacturer should improve on.
Can't use cheap SD cards. If you do the videos cut out after a few seconds (10 second video cuts out at 4 seconds) solution was to use a better SD card (effect gets worse with higher resolution video settings)
Night vision is hit and miss. When taking night photos it fails to turn on and takes a dark photo with a red night vision error on the bottom of the photo. Night vision quality when it works is sub par
Only takes 4 AA batteries so battery life is really lacking. Even when only taking photos and no video I can get any more then 3-4 months out of it and less in winter. In fact in winter it just randomly decides to not take photos when there's a clear object in front (poor detection maybe due to cold??)
Lastly the camera lens is sticking out like a "cone" rather then a inward "cone" some may not notice this is a issue but when taking photos in the rain or snow it...

Clint Carbaugh: I bought a pair of these cameras about 11 months ago and they both had some issues here this fall. I contact support and they were excellent at resolving the issue. I would buy these again with no question. Thank you!
