Pcola Joe: It looks good in the kit. I drilled a couple of holes when I received it and thought it would be handy. Yesterday I went to use the small hole cutter attachment, I discovered that the nut does not fit the threaded attachment. Useless. This looks like someone had a good idea for a kit, and maybe sold some kits to get a contract, and then had a relative build them. They look functional, but are junk. The guide drill is dull and does not cut at all. Good for drywall only, not wood..

Tech Geek Reviews: Cheap and does the job. I used to cut a hole in a plastic dashboard to mount an additional 12v socket. The kit is definitely not as well built as more expensive packets but if you only plan to use a few times, this is the one to buy!

- Tech been good to me -: This kit has proven to be very useful. I bought it to cut through a very dense desk apron (5/8" MDF/veneer) for a cable run. Real easy and a clean cut. I was able to get a tight fit of the assembled circular blade. The resulting cut was quick. The storage box was a nice bonus. Is this pro quality? No. But, for the DYI homeowner it's a nice addition to the tool box that won't frustrate.

Todd C. Feitl: You can't beat the price. There is no doubt about that. They are not as sharp as you may need and they do seem to wear out quicker than I had expected. I had a project that I needed to cut a lot of holes in a piece of hardboard. It may have been the resin in the board but it was more of a hassle than I expected. The job got finished and it was cheaper to buy this set than a single bi - metal cutter from anyone else. Overall, I'd probably have to recommend this set.
P.s. use one of your own drill bits for the center. The one that comes with is dull and terrible.
