surfs: I love my plants, but I also love a bargain when buying pots. A lot of times the cheapest or cutest pots are missing drainage holes (ahem…ikea…home goods), which is a must for me. These drill bits are definitely the answer to that issue. I looked up a few YouTube videos and then got started drilling with the proper PPE and supplies. Once you do a few you get the hang of it. They are easy to attach and remove on your drill of choice. Make sure to have water handy. As with any diamond drill bit they start to wear after a few uses and become too dull, but with different sizes I had lots of options!

Marjorie Jones: So here's the thing. The previous drill bits I have for drilling a hole in something,you know, a really big hole, have a center pivot point to hold the blades in place. These Diamond bits do not have that, so I put the bit in the drill, I put the drill on the surface that I needed to put the whole in, and the drill bit just slides everywhere because there's nothing holding it in place right in the center of my target.

I've never used a product designed exactly like this, so maybe I am using it incorrectly. If anyone has any advice, I am all ears. And if it's me being stupid, I will change my number of stars.

In the end I used my other drill bits, the old-fashioned kind, to start the hole I needed to create a channel. Then I was able to set these drill bits inside that channel and they stayed in place enough to drill the hole. However I bought these specifically to drill a hole through glass and I won't be able to do that process. So, over all these bits are pretty worthless to me.

amani: Good price for how long they last. You won’t get many uses out of them, but for the price it’s ok.

Stewy Griffen: These are good for a few bathrooms. Much more economical than buying name brand hole saws. These last about half as long as a Milwaukee or Lenox. But they are 1/10 of the price! And if you are a DIYer, these are the way to go.

Cons: probably not great for the environment to keep throwing these away.
