Bought it for a handgun (.177 pellet gun), and.... yeah. I tried everything, and I just couldn't get it sighted in. The reticle was way out of sight, and adjustments just didn't seem to work at all. Not to mention the package was open on arrival.
So I requested a refund, assuming it was defective. Got a second one.... same thing. Refunded that one too. Garbage product.

Austin Liu: For its price it’s worth it, plus it has 4 different reticle options and 7 brightness options.
It’s very easy to use, and relatively bright, although in the desert with the sun right above you it’ll be kind of faded even on the highest settings. When indoors even with the lowest or the second to lowest setting it’ll be bright, a little too bright because you’ll be able to see the housing of the laser through the sight’s reflection.
But for the price, it’s worth it

Lizz: I shoot in the NRA bullseye competitive pistol league (50 ft, 1 handed at slow, timed, and rapid fire). I shoot a browning buckmark and was looking for a relatively inexpensive red dot for my pistol. I bought this red dot and mounted it 3-4 wks ago and have shot very well (263 out of 300 points has been my highest with this product). This red dot does what I need it to. When benched the shots are within the 10 ring (about an inch) at 50 feet consistently. It's lightweight compared to my old red dot. The other reticles work but they distract me too much from seeing the black at 50 ft so I only use the single dot reticle. The brightness is click adjustable which is great. I use the #2 brightness and it works excellent for what I need it to. I'll bench it again next week to see if it's stayed sighted as people have complained it hasn't been able to hold a zero but considering I shot a 263 last week, it's probably that they're using this red dot on too high of a caliber pistol/rifle. It is titled buckmark, so I'd imagine it (and have experience) with it working great on my .22 lr
UPDATE: It's now 10/24/2017 and this past week at the bullseye pistol match I shot a 272 out of...

george reeves: I received the Buck Mark Reflex scope and was worried because it looked fragile. Mounted it to the gun and proceeded to the range. At 25 yards none of the first five shot rounds were any ware to be seen. I moved to 10 yards and found that the shots were so low that they were just on the cardboard, about 10 inches below the target. . Windage was off by about two inches. Firing three shot groups I moved it up to the bulls-eye
I then moved back to 25 yds. As to be expected it was now close to six inches high as the bullet is still rising from 10 yds to 25 yds. Again three shot groups moved it down to the bulls-eye. All done with about 20 rds. At 25 yds the 3 MOA is not a problem, lets move on to 50 yds.
At 50 yds the 3 MOA is now a problem as it is larger than the target (1 inch diamond). I also found that at the shorter distance the Circle-Dot Reticle was the best to use. At this distance the only usable reticle was the Dot Reticle. As visibility is limited with the large 3 MOA it still shot a decent pattern just a tad high, pattern was 3.3 inch group about one inch high and to the left.

Emerson: Browning Buckmark Holographic Sight
I just recently purchased this sight and installed it myself on my Browning Buckmark LR .22 pistol. I purchased a metallic weaver-compatible rail mount for the sight. I went to the range and locked and loaded and fired about 10 rounds of quality brand ammo to sight it in. After the 10th round, I had the sight shooting perfect bullseyes at 50'. I LOVE the sight. Right out of the package, for $50-60, I think this sight is well built, and does a fantastic job. The sight itself, I thought, is very well constructed. It's all metallic, the sight lens has a rubber dust cover cap that protects the sight when not in use, and I have already put about 500 rounds down range and it fires right on every time. Haven't changed the battery yet. In brighter conditions, I use about 4 or 5 on the light setting, and I can see the target fine. When dusk starts coming around, I found it easier to switch to the plain red dot sight, and lower the brightness setting to about 1 or 2. When it starts getting a little dark on the range, if the sight is too bright, I can actually see double sights in the lens. But in bright light, I only see one, and it works...
