Freeman North East: The product and delivery is fine, no problems. BUT be aware of price fluctuations. I started looking at Brita filters when I was down to the last two of my six pack. Every day I checked the cost of a 12 pack, not just on Amazon but other sites. Amazon was always competitive but like every other site the price fluctuated quite a lot. I pounced when I spotted the lowest price and ordered. A couple of days later the price shot up once again. So, my advice, start looking before you actually require replacements.

Mrs P: I’m a bit of a cheapskate so I’ve tried some of the unbranded, lower priced cartridges before now. I need to use a water filter as we live in a very hard water area and scum on tea, and even coffee, is really quite unpleasant. The cheaper ones I’ve tried are all rubbish. You maybe get a week of decent water, but after that it stops filtering properly and hey presto, scummy drinks again.

I went back to Brita and I’m getting lovely water for weeks, sometimes they last a bit longer depending on how much tea and coffee I consume. I’m sticking to Brita now. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.

Exlibris: Weiches Wasser macht den Kaffee oder Espresso eben besser. Wenn hier in Unterkategorien nach Geschmack gefragt wird, ist das sicher gemeint. Wer würde schon die Plastikkartuschen anknabbern oder die Aktivkohle schlucken? So gekostet ist der Kaffee und sein kleiner Bruder eben perfekt. Preislich ist der Marktführer nicht ganz unbescheiden. Man bezahlt aber sicher seinen Obolus an der Wiederverwertungsinitiative mit, egal, ob man sich daran beteiligt oder die verbrauchten Kartuschen glattweg in den Müll schmeißt. Für die Recyclinginitiative gibt es von mit aber einen extra Bonus. Das Wasser wird natürlich nicht frischer, wenn es aus dem Vorratsbehälter abgesaugt wird. Die Frische kommt aus dem Hahn.Es ist jedoch immerhin deutlich besser, als ungefiltertes Wasser, das so ein paar Tage ungebraucht herumsteht. Daher überzeugt die Qualität absolut. Kocht man Tee mit dem gefilterten Wasser wird der Unterschied noch deutlicher, schon optisch. Hat ungefiltertes Wasser eine schnelle Verdunklung des Tees und sich absetzende Flocken und Schlieren zur Folge, bleibt der Tee mit gefiltertem Wasser deutlich heller, goldklar und durchsichtig. Da ist die Frage ob filtern oder nicht filtern...

Michal: I'm not new to these, as a renter I have been using brita for 8 years, and changing filters has always been important to me because I'm really aware of the taste.
With the latest inflation the price of these filters localy rose from 21$ to 29$ for a package of 3. Here I ordered a package of 6 for 34$ which is insanely better. Great deal

RicardoRicardo: Fits the filtering jar as expected and the filter works the intended time as well.
I don't particularly like the flavour, but I don't dislike it either, and it's definitely better than drinking water with insane amounts of calcium carbonate (a.k.a., what turns to limescale).
