ehsan: The juicer has a two speeds toggle Switch, "low" for softer items and "high" for harder produce. The speed selection table per different fruits is in its product manual.

You can also register your product online to benefit from the manufacturer's warranty. Or buy protection plan from Amazon.ca.

It comes with a plastic cleaning brush, a waste jug and a one-liter juice jug. It isn't a quiet machine when working but is acceptable. Per the manual, all parts all dishwasher-safe, but they will last longer if you wash them by hand and carefully.

Casey Inman: This is a great product, but DO NOT put it in the dishwasher. I've had this for two months, and have mostly hand washed each piece. I have now put it in the dishwasher three separate times (top shelf only) and pieces have already warped. The warranty does not cover these warped pieces and I have had to purchase them directly from Breville to replace them. Other than that, this is a really powerful juicer that can make approx 32 ounces of juice at a time. Depending on what you're juicing you may need to stop in the middle to remove what cannot be juiced in order for everything else to be juiced properly. Cleaning takes a bit more time than what some of these videos show you. You can't just rinse and set aside because some fruits/veggies can really build up on some of these parts and scrubbing with hot water, soap, and a good sponge is the best way to keep these parts clean so that they last a long time. You will need to do a deep soak for the blade using Oxyclean or another product every 1-2 months if you're using your juicer 3-4 times a week like I do.

I have learned some things since getting this wonderful juicer I would like to pass on to you, if you are considering getting one for yourself. In order to preserve the motor, DO NOT PUT WHOLE FRUITS IN MACHINE. I am now chopping fruits and vegetables up into smaller pieces which is making my machine purr instead of growl. Be careful with Beets, especially. Chop them into small chunks. Too fibrous. I find it relaxing chopping everything up. I was skeptical in the first place about putting whole apples, oranges, etc into the hopper. It is just too much for the motor to absorb day after day. Just wanted you to know about MY personal experience.

I am giving this juicer 5 Stars even though the cleaning brush was not included in the box. Amazon cannot send you one. I asked. I had a Breville juicer years ago but this one is far and away more powerful. Just be prepared to cover the slot with the stamper immediately after dropping in the fruits and veggies because it will fling the items into the air if the stamper isn't in place. After I got the hang of it everything was great.

Yes, it's easy to clean, but you have to disassemble the entire juicer...

Nanvan: First, let me say that I am brand new to juicing. I have terrible IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) that has kept me from eating most vegetables for almost 2 years. I've been very very sick with IBS for the last 6 weeks and unable to work. (I've had the condition most of my life but never this bad. The last two years have been the worst.) Anyway, My daughter recommended the documentary Fat, Sick and Almost Dead and this was the juicer that Joe Cross used on his 60 day juice fast. He had an autoimmune disease just like I do. He had this exact juicer in the back of his car, attached to a battery, and he went all over the US offering juice to people in many different states while he, himself, lost something like 75lbs and felt like a new man. He got off all his medications he got so healthy. I figured I would see if I could tolerate vegetables this way with the pulp and fiber removed so they would be easier for my beleaguered digestive system to absorb. I didn't know if I'd be able to deal with all the work involved with juicing since a side effect of IBS is also chronic fatigue. Lefthebldg: Although purchased last year, it wasn't until 2 months ago I used this regularly (in fact daily). Last year it was mostly collecting dust.

The main con pertaining to this Breville juicer is juice splatters up through the seam between the clear top plastic part and the smoke coloured plastic lower part. I have to cover this seam with paper towels or a washcloth every time. Otherwise I'm wiping the juice from the kitchen floor, counter, and wall. I've read other reviewers with the same problem so Breville must know about it, and I guess, instead of adding a gasket in between, they ignore this. Hence the 3 star rating.

Assembly & Dismantling: Easy (1 min) each

Juicing: high yield on many fruits and vegetables but not leafy greens (kale, spinach, parsley, etc) but that's with all centrifugal juicers. However, pulp is very wet, meaning not getting as much juice yield. (I've read masticating juicers typically get 20% more juice yield for the same amount of produce. Masticating juicers discard a much drier pulp). This juicer is also loud, on either of it's 2 speeds. I can't juice early in the morning for fear of waking up family members.

It's been 2 months since I owned the juicer, and now I can evaluate it more accurately. Generaly, it's a great juicer which does the juicing job perfectly.

But, I have to take off 1 star (actually I would have taken off only 1/2 star if possible) for the following shortcomings:

1) the lid on the juice container does not lock at all, and when you pour the juice it falls off spilling the liquid all over the place - found out the hard way! From then on I transfer the juice immediately to a jar with a tight lid - but that means having on hand an extra container and more washing. Breville fix that in the future models, please!

2) washing parts in a dishwasher is confusing because some parts can only be washed by hand. But, which part is which? Yeah, there is narrative about it somewhere in the manual but who has the patience to read the manual each time one wants to clean the juicer? I wish there was some indication on the part itself if it's save to wash it in a dishwasher or not.
