Kindle Customer: This is at least a two box tissue reading, for me anyway. So full of overcome challenges and deep family connections, I liked it more the second time I read it!

Dragonboater: Annalisa, a 17 yo Italian American teen growing up in rural Maine, is desperate to get out and pursue art. She meets Thomas who is of course too good to be true and loves her devotedly. While the plot was predictable and cliched and too easy at times, the warmth of the writing and especially the heart of her big Italian family made it worthwhile.

J’aurais aimé en savoir un peu plus sur le stress post traumatique qu’a vécu Thomas

Amazon Customer: It's not easy finding a story where you lose yourself in the pages enough to withdraw from the world and fall into another world. This is one of them. From the first page to the last, the story pulls you in, as the silent onlooker and cheerleader, not wanting the adventure to end.
A story of love, heartache and forgiveness that shows that family can sometimes be what makes us the strongest.
And now I need a set of windchimes. :D

Libby's Mom: How and why did a middle aged man (I guess) write a story from the viewpoint of a teenaged girl? That was my first problem. Then, yes, Annalisa did have a hard childhood, but by 17 she met the love of her life, she moved to a new city and found not only a cheap place to live, a job, a father-figure and a benefactor right away. Art lessons from a famous artist. She even got a free car to use! She has a huge loving Italian family. She only failed a couple times on her art until she became a star with her own gallery and became a curator at 20? A free ocean front house. She was basically a whiner, feeling sorry for herself until she got what she wanted. I read this in 3 days, but I was less than satisfied. Emma was an unbelievable character. The title was not fulfilled by the story; there was basically only one wind chime. I imagined there would be a whole forest of them at the end. Stick to wine country and real people your own age please.
