Caroline Fisher: Bread from this mix tends to be too crumbly. The crust falls off when it is cut, for example. On the other hand, it is less expensive than Pamela's. I have tried adding more oil and some apple cider vinegar to make it better; it helps some.

lilcoupon: Yeah. Not a fan of this way of eating if I can't have a piece of bread. A sandwich for crying out loud that doesn't taste like cardboard!!!! So with that said...I liked this bread. I hate the stuff you buy at the grocery store. I am going to use the bread and put it in forms and let it raise to make buns. Momma needs a good burger!!

Thomas M. Frier: My wife must follow a Gluten Free diet. She can no longer enjoy the bread products I am able to consume. I was especially pleased to find Bob's Red Mill bread mix in a 4-pack. The instructions are simple to follow although it would be great if there was an easy way I could prepare and bake Bob's Red Mill bread mix using our automatic bread-making machine. Unfortunately, the machine's instructions do not address how to prepare the gluten-free variety. This is no reflection on Bob's Red Mill since his instructions for baking the bread in the oven are spot on. The instructions recommend that you bake his bread until it reaches an internal temperature of 210 degrees Fahrenheit. The first few times I used Bob's product I adhered to his advisory about the internal 210 degrees temperature. This was a mistake since you cannot be sure that entire loaf is baked despite a false temperature reading. The probe read 210 at the 60-minute mark and I mistakenly pulled the bread from the even way too soon. Subsequently, the only thing I do at the 60-minute mark now is cover the loaf loosely with aluminum foil to prevent over-browning. The loaf requires 90-minutes to fully bake. The only reason I...
