We were skeptical about getting this because it was so cheap. It’s a great product. No issues whatsoever, it’s sturdy and doesn’t take up hardly any space.

In the picture of this product, the pole that the paper towel is mounted on looks to be a typical size, and the outer stabilizing piece seems wider. When I got this product a few minutes ago (July 15 around 17:30), I placed the paper towel on it. It stretches the towel core, making it wide and thus unable to turn as you pull a sheet of paper. Both the shorter outside piece and the pole that goes in the paper towel role are the same size!! In the picture I added to this review you can see where I tried squeezing it to make it more narrow which did not work. It’s too cheap to go through the hassle of returning it but I thought I should make the effort to leave a review for others. Don’t buy this one, very poor design. I just don’t understand who thought this was smart to do. I’m so annoyed.

Cute “farmhouse” paper towel holder. My only complaint is the center piece is a bit to wide and the paper towels don’t spin on the holder. Maybe I’m using the wrong paper towels?

It’s a budget friendly and attractive option but found that the centre piece is too wide to allow for the paper towel roll to turn freely. Instead the whole stand moves! Tried it with both no name and brand name (bounty) and had same result.
