GH: Third jug on our 9 year old blender but it works perfectly and blendtec blender keeps chugging. Seems a bit pricey for a plastic jug but works well

Califrisco: My old Blendtec jar's bearing was shot and started to make noise and this was a perfect fitting upgrade. The lid's been redesigned to fit more securely and they've added some additional internal vertical ribs to improve the blending.
Very happy with the quality and replacement.

Y. Callewaert: I bought a Blendtec blender 7 years ago.. I liked it, didn't truly love it. I use a blender every day but found that not everything got blended all the time. I use it mostly for smoothies and to make soups
A few weeks ago, the blade in the jar (Wildside jar as well) got loose and broke off. I decided to give it one more try and order a new Wildside jar instead of spending a lot of money on another blender. Now the jars are not cheap either, so I kept fingers crossed.
I have been using the blender with the new jar for a little over 2 weeks now and it is a world of difference as compared with the older version of the jar.
Blender works perfectly. Is much quieter than it has ever been and blends absolutely perfectly. Maybe I got a defective one when I bought the whole blender, I will never know.
I am just happy to be able to use my Blendtec, and better than before.
I do like the new lid design as well. I kept the old lid, just in case, but this seems to work much better and leaks less.

DigiReviews: I've had my Blendtec for years and for years I complained about the size of the container and how such a great machine should be able to make powders, pulverize veggies without a problem...although the machine is powerful the air pockets that form require you to stop the machine and stir the contents.
This Twister jar is like whoa :) it pulverized my onions, garlic and ginger blend to a nice creamy consistency in 20 seconds! Homemade butter, which we make all the time was made in 40 seconds instead of minutes!
The size is perfect!!!!! for making small batches and it works so quickly! I've made peanut butter (2) cycles of sauces/dips button, the peanut butter gets warm on the 2nd cycle but it's so creamy! I also made sauces for making Korean and Indian dishes in seconds!
The spatula that is provided is well made and angled in such a way that it grabs almost all the goodies and leaves little for waste. I'll probably need another of these because I'll use it with other containers/bowls.
The only thing I will warn you about is the twister lid is not leak proof, so it should only be used with ingredients that don't contain too much liquid. If it contains, I'd...

Grits: If you own a Blendtec (and you should!), this is a must-have. We gave our old, still running V---Mix to a relative when we purchased a Blendtec, and don't regret it at all. Once this jar was marketed, we checked with relatives that already owned one and the reviews were outstanding. [Disclaimer: one of our daughters is married to the brother of one of the lead engineers on the development of this particular jar. However, we don't get discounts, we just happen to be fortunate enough to get "inside" information about the development process, etc. - nothing that helps us, just interesting info.]
Our very first "project" was almond nut-butter. It turned out great - no wasted food trying to learn how to use this. We put a cup of raw almonds in this, used the twist-top to keep the sides clean and all the emerging nut-butter down in the bottom so it would continue processing, and in just a couple of minutes or so, we had delicious, fresh almond nut butter. It didn't need ANY additions, though I suppose one could add salt to taste, or other flavoring - we just didn't think it needed it.
There is so much more you can do with this, including single-serving smoothies, and much...

Vincent H.: This original Blendec jar has several nice differences over the jar that came with my blender about 10 years ago: the blade bearing assembly seems a bit bigger, the jar's plastic seems (not sure) to be of a different less scratchy plastic, and the rubber top cover is bigger with a better seal side flaps. Overall, extremely satisfied!
