James Martin: I was moving out of a rental house and needed something to help clean up after a puppy I was potty training. This worked great and it was easy to use. I used the cleaning detergent to spot treat the areas and then used the machine to do deep cleaning. Make sure to push relatively hard to pull up all of the water/cleaner so that the areas dries quicker. Worth every penny I spent on this because we didn't have to pay for carpet replacement.

🌺Kat🌺: I bought this spot carpet cleaner primarily for my cloth car seats. I have two daughters that play softball and they bring all the dirt after the game into the car. I have used a cloth and wipe down my car from time to time but I wasn’t able to invest in really good seat covers just yet. I really love this vacuum. I had stains on my cloth seats that I could not get with a cloth out, even after some good scrubbing. My car is fairly new, the unit is lightweight. All the parts are labeled and easy to understand. Overall, I think this is worth the money. It’s small and stores nicely as well. The car seats came out super clean, and the suction power was enough to not leave my seats damp for the rest of the day . Carpet cleaning is a bit of work in itself but I would say I got through my car in a good amount of time. It does come with a little bit of carpet cleaning formula which made my car smell nice. I just hooked up the unit to an extension cord from the garage and went to work. This was a worth purchase. I have not used it on a carpet or a couch, but I think it would work great too

Carey & MelissaCarey & Melissa: It worked reasonably well on old carpet stains so I moved into some 10 yr old chairs. The attached pictures are of the same chair. It did a good job considering I didn't pretreat the old stains. Was easy to fill with water. Remember to vacuum first or the dirt/sand may cause clogs. I removed the dirty water bin easily but it doesn't seem to be seating all the way down. I also noticed it's leaking (pictured) so I need to call Bissell to figure out what's wrong and if the unit is defective. Note this is a carpet/upholstery cleaner but not a steam cleaner.

GoldenmomGoldenmom: Excellent cleaning power; great capacity; Great for cleaning occassional spots; used on pet stain (12 yr old housetrained dog with Dementia) and also used on old hair product spill. weighs about 18 lbs. with full tank, which I can not carry, but fits nicely on wooden tray on top of rollator/walker. Long hose & long cord which store neatly on side. TIP: If you pre-treat stain with Bissell solution, mark area with shoestring or something, as you will not be able to find stain afer waiting 5 minutes to finish cleaning; uses just 2 oz of concentrated cleaner---that's 1/4 cup...use a funnel to add after adding hot water to tank. Look for videos if you need help filling & emptying the first time. Glad I made this purchase.

I’ve been thinking about buying this for a long time. I finally pulled the trigger, so I thought I would take the time to list my thoughts.

1. Yes, it works. I’m trying to get a few more years out of my furniture & I know there are some hot spots from my pups. I clean it by hand when I find them, but I know the smell is there. Over the years, the fabric has hardened (likely from cleaning agents) but the odor lingers for the dogs. I followed the instructions and worked on my chair. As you can see in the pictures, it definitely pulls the dirt/residue/hair out. The fabric is visibly cleaner and much softer.
2. One run is probably not enough if the fabric is dirty enough. I let my chair dry overnight, but woke to the smell of urine. It’s going to take several rounds of cleaning, but I’m very hopeful & pleased.
3. Yes, it leaks (as described by other users) - if they are talking about in the clean tank or somewhere else. Honestly, I don’t know how it couldn’t. If you look in the first picture (clean tank), you can see the mechanism. It’s similar to a Shark steamer - you turn the...

Donna D.: The box came damaged. There was a note attached as it was a return. It was a USED return. I only discovered it was used when I went to use it and there was dog /cat hair. Unfortunately I needed to use it so I did not return it, otherwise I would of. I should get some money back!!!

Deb Scott: Works real good and good suction. I have a special needs cat that occasionally has a accident and i use a black light to spot them. I have been cleaning them by hand and after use the black light to make sure I got it all. Got the Bissell to try and make it easier for me. After cleaning the spot with the Bissell then using the black light it's like I never even cleaned it. Still shows it's still there with the black light. The water sucked up is dirty though. So what I was doing by hand was...in a squirt bottle with oxy clean and water mixed Id saturate it on the area then I'd sprinkle baking soda , then spray it with vinegar let it foam up and scrub like hell with a good scrub brush. Afterwards I'd put some rags down, stand on them to soak up the liquid. The black light would show nothing, all clean. Humm.. So water sucked up in the bissell was dirty gray but black light still showed it like it was never cleaned. So I'm on the fence about the bissell.
