Benfei Gold-Plated DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter - Connect Your PC to HDMI Enabled Monitor/TV

Chris: Been using one of these on an HP computer that has a display port output only to an HDMI monitor. Works flawlessly. I have a couple of others, one of which had a less sharp image - this one seems fine, and the other worked but ran really hot. This one seems cool to touch despite running all day. The image doesn't appear mucked about with and audio does carry over to the monitor OK.

Alban: Mon PC ne disposant que de sorties Display port et ma télé étant pourvue uniquement de ports HDMI, cet adaptateur assure la liaison. Fonctionne très bien même en 4K, rien à signaler.

Avevo la necessità di connettere il PC con una AMD wx5100 con sole porte DP alla TV Philips con 4 HDMI che veicolasse l'audio. Se dovete avere anche voi questo collegamento vi consiglio di andare subito su adattatori/cavi attivi per risparmiare tempo e testarle con tutte le combinazioni di porte DP/HDMI. Arriva fino al 4K ma non ho idea se a 30 o 60 Hertz. Cmq funzionante in tutto e per tutto.

Andres: Lo compré principalmente para conectar un mini ordenador HP Elitedesk 800 G3 mini, el cual sólo lleva salida de monitor D-SUB y DisplayPort y no me sirvió. Mi monitor, un Samsung M5 de 27" lo reconoce pero dice que el dispositivo se encuentra apagado y no dá imagen en pantalla, por lo cual, procedí a devolverlo.
Lo compré atendiendo a otros comentarios que leí en Amazon con similar problema al mío, porque decían que éste adaptador al ser activo, funcionaba con mini pc's, pero amí no me sirvió.

SingleStack230SingleStack230: Note: This is for the Active DisplayPort to HDMI (4K@60Hz). I have a couple of Dell monitors I wanted to daisy-chain together. The primary display is a P2423DE with DisplayPort input and output connections, and the other one is a SE2416H with an HDMI input.

The setup works well, provided you have a video card that supports it. An NVidia Quadro card will drive it, along with a Dell Latitude 5520 (via the USBC power/video port). Also, the monitor being driven in this manner has to be the last on the chain.

A Lenovo T430 with Intel HD graphics will only drive the primary monitor, as the video subsystem doesn't support MST at all.

John Strong: I am always appreciative of a product like this. It's simple, straight forward and it does exactly as it should. I've had no issues at all, instantly worked without any problems. Definitely recommended. There are plenty of other products that I can't sat the same for. This one is great.

Oops so just a week ago this stopped working. No longer transmitted the signal. My PC was off, not asleep but off and I booted it up to a black screen. I checked the typical stuff and while doing so had run my hand along this to find it very hot to the touch. Far hotter that anything like it should be. Mind you this was in about a 1 time period after the PC was powered on. Not comfortable with it, the seller is great and would honor the warranty but I'd prefer not take the risk unfortunately. Live and learn.
