Gael Cost: I have used a number of USB-C network cards with varying degrees of success. I was aware of this model, but no one would deliver it to where I live :('
When I saw that I could have it delivered, I immediately seized the opportunity and finally regained my network access in 1Gb/s mode, and it's ultra-stable! I keep it continuously connected to my Studio Display, so when I return to work at the office, I just connect my MacBook Pro and fully enjoy my network :)

Valentin Hilbig: Ich weiß ja nicht, was Belkin da macht, aber sie hätten den Adapter vielleicht mal mit den üblichen Android-Devices auf dem Markt testen können. Anscheinend wurde das unterlassen. Resultat: Mit so gut wie allen Android-Geräten bei mir funktioniert Power-Delivery nicht und der Adapter funktioniert stattdessen nur im OTG-Modus.

Ich sehe die Schuld ganz klar auf der Seite von Belkin. Der Adapter ist teuer genug, dass man erwarten muss, dass er mit Standard-Androids die mit USB-C ausgestattet sind mit Plug und Play funktioniert. Ja, da steht "für Thunderbolt 3" drauf. Aber warum funktioniert es dann mit meinem Samsung-Handy (SM-G395FN/DS aka. Xcover 4s)?

Klar, die von mir getesten Devices haben "nur" USB-C und kein "Thunderbolt". Komisch aber, dass es auch mit nicht-Thunderbolt-Geräten wie meinem älteren Samsung funktioniert aber nicht einem brandaktuellen Tablet mit USB 3.2. Bei Samsung kriegt das Handy immerhin 2.5W und Ethernet und wechselt auch aus dem OTG-Modus wenn wieder Strom anliegt. Aber mein Samsung hat eben genau nicht und garantiert niemals Thunderbolt (das haben wohl nur Intel- und Apple-Geräte). Somit ist diese Packungsaufschrift für mich eine...

David E. Townsend II: I have this connect from my phone to PC, I am able to use my unlimited high-speed internet plan fro my phone for my ethernet connection on my computer. This works perfectly because now I get 20+MBps up and 5MBps+ down. Although it doesn't charge my phone when in use, I am able to use it for hours before ging back to a wireless connection. I would recommend retractable ethernet/device cables for this to reduce the mess of cables.

poplin: While reviewer 6677 from the UK says the adapter without power "worked flawlessly in Nintendo Switch," we found that the model with passthrough essentially did not work at all with the Nintendo Switch and was tested on three different devices, two original (gen 1; serial XA...) and one "red box" (gen 2; serial XK...) revision. The devices did show a charging state when the device was powered on AFTER plugging in the adapter but there was apparently no power recognized if the adapter was plugged in while the device was on. We found no problems with the Acer chromebook laptops (ethernet or passthrough power) or an Asus laptop (ethernet) without USB-C charging. We are satisfied with the purchase but disappointed that it is not fully functional with all devices. Other passthrough power devices (LENTION) work so it cannot be all Nintendo's fault.
