Om: So far seems to be good but I did notice when I turn the lights on sometimes, they would flicker and shut off then a second or so later they will come on hopefully they will last only time will tell I will keep you posted as I used them more.09/09/2023 gave it another star for doing a pretty good job in growing my plants there is not a day that goes by that I see most plants pearl. and this a low-tech setup that I turned a reef tank into a planted freshwater tank. If this keeps up, I'll give it another star.

AKB: I've purchased 8 of the DA And EA lamps in the last 2 years (30", 36" and 48").
They are a pretty decent budget light and work well for a low-tech planted tank with low to medium light plants for tanks up to 18" deep.
Be aware the drivers do run a little hot (so far only one has failed, though) and the lamps should be kept away from splashes and particularly airstone spray.

Alec Deaubl: AWESOME VALUE!!! You're getting a SUPER nice quality aquarium light for a VERY affordable price! The LEDs are so bright! The plants love it! The profile of this unit is so SLIM and elegant! And it runs very cool: you can hold your hand to the light panel and it's only warm to the touch, so it won't heat up your tank. Also, the LEDs are covered by a thin, flexible layer of plastic, so you can easily wipe it clean and you don't have to worry about bubbles or splash back getting the LEDs wet.
It's actually so bright that I decided to put a panel on top of my tank right in front of the light to block the light from shining forward because it can be blinding if you're sitting on the couch at eye-level and you can see up into the LEDs.
I also bought the timer unit (highly recommend -- very convenient!) so I am able to selectively turn on/off the addition of the blue LEDs. When you turn it on with all the LEDs, it gives a very bright, full-spectrum light! The addition of the blues make the overall appearance only SLIGHTLY purple, but it's not very obvious and definitely not unappealing. Definitely NOT like a "late night convenience store" feeling. In fact, the slight purple...

S. Embry: This is the my second off these lights. First one lasted four years and then the power supply went out. The light still works with the power supply from my new light. Four years seemed like a decent value for the price paid to me. I have the timer as well and really like the light and timer. I have much more expensive lights on other aquariums and this one seems just about as good to me. Only real difference, you can't adjust the power levels like the more expensive ones. But that's over rated. Very good light for the money, my plants love it.
