Battery-Powered Cat Water Fountain by Kastty

Happy Camper: If you have kitties like I do, you will find how quickly they come to enjoy and rely on this. We had one for about a year then bought this as a second one for them. You can set it for motion detection (which we do) and use an adapter (which we do) so you don't go through a ridonculous amount of batteries (which you will). One day something came loose and the fountain didn't turn on. My youngest 4 yo cat went up to it and started 'patting' it to get the water to bubble then gave up and went to the other one. It is totally true about cats loving running water. If you have cats, you understand that whole 'I want to drink out of the faucet' routine. This unit will not disappoint. There is also a set of filters - one for the upper piece where hair and such might end up and a smaller one on the filter under the water itself. Lights will come on the unit to tell you when to change it. With two cats I only have to wash/fill this once or twice a week for them. Pampered little fluffy butts!! LOL

mom2boys77: This fountain worked great at first then the pump stopped and stopped working. Of course it happened 2 months after the purchase so Amazon won’t do anything but when the company doesn’t leave information as how to contact them it makes this whole process harder. I was going to purchase another fountain because my cat really enjoyed it but I probably will look to another company who has customer service to assist when something goes wrong.

katpuck: Our cat was approx 7 mos old when we adopted her. But she'd obviously been super spooked by some previous events in her life. When we bought a more vigorous fountain, she'd run away every time the water appeared to shoot in the air and splash down. She also didn't much like water in a bowl. Since we know that most cats don't drink enough water, we had to find something that would attract her to the water w/out frightening her. This fountain was the perfect balance. The little 'blub, blub, blub' noise it made when she was near interested her w/out scaring her. We have to clean her litter many times a day because now she's a 'big drinker'!

You do need to clean the fountain weekly, but you can do that in about 10 minutes once you get used to the 5 or 6 parts. A small price to pay for clean and interesting water for your cat.

Also, excellent customer service. We had the fountain for over a year and it started to leak. I wrote to the seller and they responded quickly, giving detailed instructions on how to check every part of it. I discovered that there was a slight crack in the plastic 'bowl' that holds the water. Doc Jeff: The only negative about this item is it uses alkaline batteries very frequently.
Worth it if no room for plug
Very quiet,
Easy clean and metal contact with the cat and water so less chance contamination.

Kary: Desafortunadamente no me di el tiempo y antier se me venció la garantía de devolución. Sería la 4a fuente, las que más me han durado son la de la flor solamente que como la quería de exterior se me hizo muy padre que fuera de pilas y desde la semana empecé con problemas porque el perro la volteaba (es tipo snauzer) criollo y tiene tapa con seguro así que según yo no habría problemas y nada que deja de funcionar y a los días volvió a funciona y ya no la devolví y la semana antepasada antes de las lluvias aquí en NL la vuelve a voltear y dejó de funcionar definitivamente, le saqué las pilas, se las cambié y nada!! Solo me falta ver si con un adaptador AC funciona pero con ese precio me hubiera comprado 2 de las otras que una a la semana la dejé afuera y se mojó y no sirvió peor fue mi culpa porque es de interior así que compré una bomba y mejor reciclé la anterior y esta pues a la basura. Además el sensor falla de repente.

Das Gerät an sich ist leise man hört nur minimal
Aber ich würde gerne auch noch wissen wo ich die ersatzfilter dafür finden kann

IndianaKlaw: I LOVE this water dish! Easy to use, wash and my cats are actually drinking more water!! I will say the sensor works well, but so well (over 6 feet away) it was turning on all the time and using up the batteries fast. I fixed that with a snip of black electrical tape half way over the sensor so it only turns on when the cat is about a foot away from the bowl.
