I love how they came together and grew. I think the language barrier is still hilarious. I love how crazy she had to get to get the Ice Navi to understand her and get what she wanted.

Alexandra Encarnacion: These two are a great love story. Showing there's someone for everyone, even if they're abrasive, and kind of a loner. I love this series! Off to the next one!

I had been enjoying the storyline, here’s what I love:

1) Them figuring out how to communicate even with language barriers.
2) Them figuring out human women/humans while fragile aren’t weak or stupid.
3) Them starting to listen to the advice of women, who IMO are more advanced and can benefit the “tribe”.

Now this story could have easily been 3 1/2 to 4 stars, except the author retraumatized the MMC with exile and rather than admitting they were wrong she doubled down and exiled the MFC in the end too.

Sorry not good enough for me….

Avidreadersbc: This is my second time rereading this series and boy do I love visiting all of my favourite characters. It's been a while so it almost feels like I am reading this for the first time again. This book is definitely steamier than I remember though. Lol .. kidding. Can't wait to read Kira's book next.

Stephanie M.: I didn't think it was possible, but this was even better than the 1st book. I loved Liz and Raahosh so damn much but Liz a lot more. She is sarcastic, spunky, funny, and so damn strong. The start of their “relationship” was rocky and even though Raahosh was stubborn and a little “me man women mine”, you got to see so much more of his development and how strong and loyal he really was. This one is so far one of my favorites.
Also loved how this book picks up a little before book 1 ended. I will forever be calling the Khui cootie.

Katie: I really enjoyed this book. It was really interesting learning more about Raahosh and Liz, and watching them grow as individuals. If you enjoyed the first you’ll enjoy this one!

SPOILERS:

Raahosh knows Liz is his, no matter how she feels about it - he will make her realise that they are right for each other… he just has to make sure she survives on this planet first by giving her a khui, then he kidnaps her.
Secluded from the tribe, Raahosh tries to ensure Liz will love him and stay with him, while Liz stubbornly resists. Angrily, she talks at Raahosh, not knowing he can understand English so knows what she’s saying.
Their days are filled with hunting and survival for a time, until the tribe finds them and all hell breaks loose…

Pia: Liz and a group of other girls was abducted by alien slavers and as they had trouble with their spaceship, the girls were dumped on an iceplanet. But the atmosphere is somehow toxic and without a special parasite, which Liz later on calls 'cootie", the humans are doomed to die in seven days. Raahosh feels his parasite resonating as he sees the almost comatose Liz and recognizes her as his woman. He does everything in order to let Liz survive and he implements the parasite into her even so she doesn't want it and tells him, she hates him forever. When she is unconscious again, he takes her on his arms and runs with her to his secret cave. When Liz wakes up she is against everything, against Raahosh and against her "cootie" which resonates for Raahosh.
It was a good and fast read, the author kept me the whole time in suspense and I could feel with the characters, their happiness, their tage and their sadness as well. I highly recommend this book.
