JaneSays: I ordered 4 to assist with walking strength and balance in Physical Therapy and they all arrived packed in individual boxes and wrapped in easy to remove plastic bags. They are exactly like what I use in PT, with springy bounce in firm foam. I have multiple issues that include multiple sclerosis, hEDS, a partial tear in my right achilles, and an unstable knee joint from surgery that removed part of my left meniscus, and these stack with other issues to create obstacles while exercising in any form. These foam pads mimic walking in sand (for me) to help use muscles that don't engage as much with flat surfaces, and help me work on balance in several ways. I never would've looked into an excercise aid like this on my own. I highly recommend that others in my shoes (so to speak) talk with their providers about pros and cons to adding something like this into your low impact routine to help with muscle strengthing, balance, stretching, and more. Very pleased so far, especially with this quality at an affordable price point.

Jared Beskow: I bought this to put under my Arendal 1723 THX center channel speaker to prevent vibrations and sound from coming off the stand where my components are located. It works great! My speaker weighs almost 65 lbs so I needed something to withstand the heavy weight and after a few months, there is no sag at all. Plus now the tweeter on the speaker lines up almost perfectly at ear level when sitting. I looked into noise isolation pads and they were either too small or too expensive. 2 of the pads (side by side) worked perfectly

Peter Holden: At first, this might seem like it would serve the same purpose as a balance board. Not so. Actually this foam pad is more challenging since a balance board allows movement in only one direction. While standing on the pad the instability is in all directions so is a more realistic way to develop a sense of balance and develops more muscles in the legs and core.

Judy C: Love that it is as good as the balance pad that I use at physical therapy. The price is great. It might not take the abuse of the ones used in a physical therapy workout room but it is great for personal use at home. I have very bad balance from an illness and injury. I am getting better balance since I can do my exercises at home as well as my physical therapy session twice a week. The improvement has gone faster because I can do my balance exercises more than twice a week. Also, love the pad because I was able to get the hot pink color!
