AYAFATO H13 HEPA-Certified Air Purifier with Filter

Lori Romano: I bought this a few months ago to put in my den where I keep my cat's litter box. In an apartment, dust and smells can travel fast! This air purifier has been awesome! My trick has been to add a Glade clip-on car scent to the top of the fan, and it adds just the slightest fresh scent to the room.

Lav: I wish I had taken pictures but I had put essential oil on the sponge as it stated you can in the description. I ran the machine multiple times and when it came time to clean the sponge it had attached itself to the bottom on the holder with melted plastic. As far as I was concerned this is a fire hazard and I threw the machine out to the trash.

amazon shopper: Did not find this to purify air at all. The item I got was used, so I was obviously the 2nd person to return it. It did not do what it is supposed to do which is filter the air to remove dust and particles, making the air cleaner. Unfortunately, it did nothing after several weeks of continued of use.

Ambagious: My only complaint is the noise/effectiveness.

I'm using it a small office without a lot of air circulation of its own. I'm a mental health counselor, and my standard for 'too loud' is that it becomes loud enough to intrude in sessions and feel uncomfortable.

My measure of effectiveness is how well it can clear my office of the smell left by clothing saturated in cigarette smoke or a really heavy cologne in 45 minutes, if the filter is right where the client was sitting.

At sleep, and levels 1 and 2, it's so quiet I have to check the light to be sure it's on. Unfortunately, it isn't effective. No noticeable difference in smell in 45 minutes, and I can still smell the smoke or cologne after 3 hours.

At level 3, it's loud enough that I don't feel comfortable having it on while the client is in the room. It *is* effective at clearing out a smell within 45 minutes.

I'd prefer something I could have at an effective speed while the client is present, but for now, this will do. Once I start having clients in person back-to-back, I'm going to have to replace it.

Satisfied CustomerSatisfied Customer: The base levels (sleep mode and quiet mode) are very very quiet. I can't hear it. Also very easy to change out the filter. The product itself and instructions make it pretty self explanatory. It doesn't take up much space which nice to be clutter-free. The purifier keeps my pets' fur to a minimum and eliminates irritating particles so no one allergic is sneezing much at all. It certainly does it's job!

The only thing I don't like is that the filters only last 2 to 3 weeks and they're about $20 each replacement. I wish they'd last longer because I really do enjoy the purifier product.

Carol H: This small air purifier works great in my spare bedroom. The room smells fresh an clean. This item is light weight and very easy to set up. It is small enough to set most anywhere. I have not tried the sleep mode as I prefer the “white noise” to sleep and this has the perfect amount for me on the high setting. I would definitely recommend this air purifier. It works great and is at the right price.

J. Bell: My old house can smell funky at times and I have allergies so an air cleaner is necessary for my health and well being. I liked that it had a HEPA filter and 5 stage filtration besides a small item that is easily moved. It is very quiet in sleep mode but I can hear a slight whirring sound in the next level but it is almost unnoticeable. It clears odors quickly and definitely helps reduce the allergy symptoms. It is well made, well priced and does the job.

Charlie: Be weary of the filter change reminder. The description says it counts down from 800hrs.. have had this for less than 2 weeks and the light is already flashing red. There's literally no possible way it could have been 800hrs already.

Aside from that little deception timer this thing is great! It's super quiet, has picked up a ton of dust and whatever else (possibly why the thing is saying to replace the filter but I highly doubt it's that sophisticated), and is super lightweight and compact. Very happy with this purchase.
