Nick SamokyszynNick Samokyszyn: A lot of the reviews for this thing are overly harsh considering how cheap it is. It also seems like there are several different versions all being reviewed in the same place, so for clarity mine cost $60, it has no light, and there is just a single rotation setting controlled by a pair of on/off switches on the back.
Pros:
it works as intended. I wound my 4 automatic watches and left them on the turntables for a week. Except for the gold Seiko which has something wrong with it (it has stopped running while I was still wearing it before lol) all of them stayed running the whole time.
Enough space on the turntables. I don't like huge watches. The skelitonized black one was a gift, but its bigger than I would buy myself. But if you like big (45mm+) watches then you might have issues fitting 2 in the same side.
Cons:
Not *that* quiet. Considering the marketing I thought I would have to put my ear to the thing to hear it running, but that is not the case. If you are the type of person who needs complete silence to get to sleep, having this in you bedroom is not a good idea. It's not loud by any means, but it is very much noticeable.

Amazon Customer: The media could not be loaded. This box should work consistently as it is plugged in. I have noticed that the automatic winder stops functioning after 1-2 days if you do not take a watch out of the box. This baffles me as it should consistently work as it runs off power coming directly from the outlet - no battery operation. It appears to be cheap and poorly made underneath the nice looking box.

I have a small collection of inexpensive automatic watches and this watch winder is, for me, a practical solution for keeping them wound. It is doing a good job so far and I'm pleased with this purchase.
