I have two watches with a case diameter of 40mm and lug-to-lug about 46mm. Because my wrist is a big larger than average (about 7.5 inches), the watches wobble around when the pillow is laid flat. If the pillow is turned to secure the watch, the watch case sticks up so far it hits the acrylic window.
Bottom line: if you have a larger than average wrist, do not order this. You will be disappointed.
For reference, I have a very similar case. In that one, I still have to turn the pillows 90 degrees for a snug fit on my watch, but the watches do not come in contact with the acrylic window. It's close, yes, but no touching. The cavity of the case must be just a big larger...or something.
I was going to experiment with different watch positions when I realized I could hear the motor. My other winder is dead quiet. This one is noticeably louder. Even 10 feet away, in my quiet office, I can hear it. Granted, it's not THAT loud, but I sure wouldn't want it on my nightstand, and it's nowhere near "5dB", which is just above the threshold of human hearing.
So much for this winder. It's going back.

UPDATE: I purchased this in November of 2022 and now, July of 2023, it has stopped functioning correctly. The motor is barely moving and not keeping my watches wound. I could find no information on the company to inquire about a warranty claim so I guess I'm back in the market for a double watch winder. I would change my rating to 1 star after this.
I didnt' want to spend a ton for a double watch winder, so I spent a lot of time looking for a good value. For the price paid, this is an exceptional value. I've only been using it for three or four weeks but it works great, is built well, is adjustable and has a very nice blue led backlight. Speaking of the build, it is nicely polished and is very quiet. Note: if you have larger watches you may have to put the crowns facing each other as one of my watches contacted the case, but it's an easy fix.
The only suggestion I would have to make it better is to add a knob to the front as the door is large and sometimes difficult to open if you take the wrong angle. I just ordered a cheap knob, scuffed up the case just a bit and hot glued the knob on and problem solved.

Very nice look, quality craftsmanship & super quiet. Controls are great, it was bigger than I thought it would be but I did not look at the size as it wasn’t important but based on the good price I was expecting it to smaller & not nearly as nice. I’ve had bad luck with a dozen watch winders in the past, I hope the long term test goes well. I will be purchasing another one of these units since it has exceeded all expectations.
