Badger Tomkin: I bought a generic brand battery for my Roomba after the original battery got damaged. (unrelated to the normal use of the vacuum), it lasted even less time than the original, sounded slower and couldn't even clean a small kitchen floor without dying .Ordered an original battery and now my Roomba sounds and moves like its more alive. Definitely worth the higher price.

Pedro P. de Lima-e-Silva: Tinha comprado por engano uma bateria "compatível", que dura menos de 2 anos e acaba. A original ROOMBA iRobot dura 4-5 anos, e tem mais potência, o robô roda por quase uma hora sem parar. NÃO comprem as chinesas imitadoras! Por isso é mais cara, mas vale muito a pena!

N.Name: This is our third replacement battery for a series 500 pet Roomba. The first was an aftermarket unit that was acceptable but not as good as the original. The second was an aftermarket battery and gave out in about a year and never lasted long in use. Third is an IRobot battery that works perfectly. It is well worth the difference in price. In this instance you do get what you pay for.

Emma mayne: This works for my 600 series Roomba . My Roomba is an old machine, more than 10 years old. Changing the brushes and making sure it’s clean keeps it running,It’s a lot less money to buy a new battery and maintain the brushes that it is to get a new machine of that quality. I did buy one of the knockoff batteries for less money first. It did work, but I was getting an alarm code when it was charging. I decided that it was in the best interest to not have a lithium battery that is not being charged correctly in the house. I didn’t trust it. This is the correct battery for the 600 series Roomba. Worth the extra dollars over the knock off.
