Dee PalouseDee Palouse: I've always used other people's thermometers for my horse. It's been a rare occasion when I need it. I finally bought my own. This one is very simple to use and appears to be accurate. As other reviewers mentioned, the temperature is instant, but it's quick enough.

Helen: I had to return it because it was too big for what I needed. I have small 7 lbs dogs. I would not recommend to buy for small dogs or cats. It is much bigger than what is described.

julie p: We purchased this particular digital with handle for our large Bernese Mountain Dog who has a medical issue which causes him to overheat. The thermometer gives a fast reading and is easy to hold and use. We brought it with to our vet’s office to try and they were impressed with it. The box also ensures no one in the family will ever accidentally use it on a human!
