Cheryl G.: I was really looking forward to a funny read, and for the most part I was not disappointed, but I just could not finish the book. When she was alive, I would laugh so much when I heard her & at that time had read, "The Grass is Always Greener Over the Septic Tank". What struck me this time though, is that while funny, it seemed to be about negative things. I know that is her style...putting herself and abilities down, but it kind of brought me down. Maybe I've become more of an "up" person in the last 30 or 40 years, but that just stood out to me. Because of that, I probably won't read any more of her books, but if you are a fan, then I know you will enjoy this read.

Keith O: I read this book back in the early 80’s and again now in 2020. During this rough period of Covid it’s refreshing to escape for a bit. Mrs. Bombeck is timeless and a much needed breath of sarcastic fresh air. What an awesome author she was. Thanks for all the laughs.

Kindle Customer: At times laugh out loud, others a bit ho humish. I think I splinked that wrong. Oh well, win some then lose the rest.

Kindle Customer: It is a guarantee that you will laugh, the belly kind, when you read any one of her books. This was one of the few I had not read yet. Oh, and it did not disappoint. I am just very sad she is no longer alive.
The world is in a bad place but a little genuine humor (and not the shocking kind that makes you ashamed for laughing), but the kind that fills you with joy, makes it a little bit easier to handle each day.

polarbear: Erma Bombeck's books are timeless. It has been a long time since I have read her books. I purchased a few to introduce my sister to the author

Sharon Long: Another hilarious book by Fannie. I don’t know how she comes up with these stories but they are so true to life.
