Elia: The media could not be loaded.  Dato che non ci sono recensioni in italiano vorrei farla io ho sostituito la puntina ormai consumata con una uguale anche perché su questa testina solo questa posso montare. La puntina un po disfrattata a me piace molto traccia bene ed molto definita essendo enter level della serie VM suona meglio anche delle più blasonate VM io ho anche la VM 540 che costa 4 volte di più tutta questa differenza non la sento. Sicuramente la ricompro. Essendo conica va bene per dischi datati rigati si sentono molto meno che delle puntine elitiche

Jörg manuel: Ich bin von Ortofon mit der teuersten Tonarmnadel ( 40er) Model immer stets glücklich gewesen. Bis Ich auf Audiotechnika gestoßen bin. Als Musik Liebhaber vor allem Schallplattenmusik ( "was wieder voll im kommen ist"!!!) Und verständlich, da die Schallschwingungen direkt mechanisch die sauberste Musik zaubert. Im Gegensatz zu Musikdaten die auf zahlen beschränkt in Bluetooth oder in Wlan oder CD's Töne auf Berechnungen sich digital vertonen lassen. Aber nun den. Die Nadel ist die Beste die Ich habe. Aufgrund des Rückgaberecht bei Amazon, erhielt ich eine Nadel gebraucht, und ca. 30% günstiger gefahren. Dennoch habe ich zum zweiten Mal schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Eine war so verkrümmt, Das der Abspieldiamant eher die Schallplattenrille zerfräst da der Winkel nicht mehr präzise eingestellt ist. Daher empfehle Ich nur noch Nagelneue Artikel von Abspielnadeln zu kaufen. Und ja, diese ist sehr hochwertig und teuer. Aber es zahlt sich meiner Meinung aus, wenn man es beim abspielen heraushört.
5 Sterne für die Japanische Nadel, aber nur 4 Punkte für gebrauchte, die evt. defekt oder unkontrolliert bei so hohen Preisen nicht beachtet wird. Mein Fazit: Nadel neu! Hui,...

B Stewart: I have an AT100E cart with a bonded elliptical stylus. It actually sounds very good but I wanted something to bring my table to the next level. I didn't want to go through the hassle of changing out the cart so this stylus was a nice, easy plug and play solution! The microline stylus is definitely a game changer! I can hear more subtle details and the sound stage seems much wider and deeper and it's not even broken in yet! I highly recommend this stylus if you have an old 100e or even a 120e, this will bring new life to these carts!

Leonard: Upgraded AT VMN40 ML stylus with AT VMN50 SH stylus on a VMN540 phono cartridge. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. Improved soundstage and less background crackle between tracks on many VG+ 40 to 60 year-old rock LPs. Bass was slightly more pronounced with the shibata stylus and highs (like triangle percussion) had vastly improved definition. My US and UK 1st press Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Led Zep and Pink Floyd LPs had new sonic discoveries that I hadn't previously appreciated. Needless to say, I'm very happy I made the switch even though I was initially very skeptical that my 72 year-old ears would hear any difference.

Mr. & Mrs. D'Onofrio: I have been using the AT440MLa for years, big fan, so much so I stocked up when it was discontinued. Well since I had no more and didn’t feel like paying upwards of $300 off eBay for new old stock I tried this direct replacement. Sounds amazing. I was weary of the heavier tracking force but it sounds awesome, even better on inner groove distortion then it’s predecessor. If you know how to properly align and setup your cartridge u will not be disappointed.

Jeff E Aniolek: I previously had the 520 cartridge and was pleased with it but was looking for a little more. My decision was made easier by the fact that I only had to buy stylus as it goes on the same cartridge body. What a difference!! The clarity of the 540 is at a completely different level and competes with my Super OM40 I have on another table. I am hearing major differences on albums I have listen to for years. I even have found on a couple albums that had a skip that it tracked better and avoided the skip. Big winner for me here and at a reasonable price for a considerable increase in sound quality.
