chuck f.: Was a very good tank for my baby girl betta lived 2 1 1/2 years in it. I would say tough that the tank is hard if also want to have a bubbler. It is super easy to clean and the perfect size for 1 betta. I had 2 with the separator but is was just to small. Over all it is a great price for the product and would recommend.

Ashley Austrew: I bought this as a hospital tank to treat my betta for a medical issue, but after reading some of the other reviews here, I want to state this unequivocally: KEEPING A BETTA FISH IN THIS TANK FULL TIME IS ANIMAL CRUELTY.

Bettas need 5gal minimum (mine is in a 20gal) with a filter and a heater. So many of the pictures here show bettas with shredded guns, pop eye, and other ailments that their owners don’t seem to recognize, and it is because they are in a small tank that is not the right temperature with poor water quality and no enrichment. Many pet stores don’t educate, and this tank is even marketed as being ideal for bettas, which is a travesty. It isn’t your fault, but please please please read up on adequate fish care before you unintentionally kill your betta. A betta living in this tank is living in misery.

Nicole K.: I purchased this as a gift and sent straight to the recipient. My dauhter lives out of state and was gifted a beta fish but did not have a secondary tank to put the fish in while cleaning the permanent tank. My criteria was affordable (cheap) and had to have a lid so she could bring the fish home for the holidays.

I must not have paid attention, because I ordered this particular one because it met my criteria and didn't realize it came with accesories. When my daughter received it, she said it came with rocks, a tree, and samples of food and cleaner. She was excited and I was impressed as I thought I got a good deal for the tank alone. I like that it has a removable piece to seperate 2 fish, so her dorm mate can clean her tank at the same time and their fish can still be seperate, although they have not used this feature yet.

Would recommend as a temporary tank for a beta fish, but would be too small for a permanent tank.
