Truthful:
I am a fish breeder. These are ok for small fish. The price was reasonable after Christmas. The price has increased, but the quality has not. I would monitor the handling of this tank by children. The plastic tank is not top quality and the lid is a lesser quality.

Perfect size for a single betta or a few smaller fish making it a nice starter kit for the kids. Really easy to clean and maintain and doesn't require much attention.
**Note** make sure you rinse the gravel really well before adding it to your tank. Mine was really dirty and took awhile to get the water to rinse clear.

Was pretty much what I expected, if a little on the small side. Probably not a great idea to actually put two bettas in it like the picture shows but the divider does fit in place well. (I’m housing a single betta in this tank. Previously had him in a 2.5 gal and I don’t think he enjoyed being in it. He never swam around. He seems to like this one. Might upgrade him to a 1 gal though.)
Overall it’s nice and it does the job. I like the little feeding door at the top. However I was a little surprised to realize the back of the tank was all scratched up when I got it. I washed it and it didn’t help. I can’t tell what happened to it or why it looks that way but luckily it’s only on the back. If it were on the front, I might have sent it back.
