spencer: 1 month in now. And as of today I'm starting to get a mould kinda taste... it worked MINT easy to setup at first. Was great filtering the water. But only 1 month in of daily filling 2 1Litre bottles of water for work, im now getting a mouldy taste. Took it off water tastes like s**t but mould taste gone, several other taps with fresh cups no mold. This tap. Mold taste.
Weird because in theory for mould you need air. And this is suppose to be sealed. No leaks, used a few different cups containers etc, still...
Mouldy taste....
Review will change if manufacturer rectifies the issue.

Connie: The water supplier here uses excessive chloring 'for runoff'. No, there is a polluter up stream on the river and the groundwater. It is something to tell the EPA. The polluter is known. Meanwhile, this filter is a help. I added a whole house filter two for sediment and one for chlorine as well. There is water piped in from elsewhere, however a new water tank for the town will need to be completed before the inferior water can be off the water supply. I have been replacing the whole house chlorine filter often. I will install a new under kitch sink filter, as soon as the replacement water tower is in place.

Tony Hallock: I have a solids tester, my water reads at around 240 lately. After the filter its around 116. Can't verify any chemical filtration. For the price though it's better than nothing.

JJJJ: what sold me on this filter is the math. 5000 gallons and 25$. i use the hot water mostly in the kitchen sink which is a separate source, so i knew that wouldn’t be using the filter. i calculated max a few gallons a day for drinking and washing fruit/veg, that’s all i use the cold water for on that tap, but it would take 13gallons a day to hit 5000 in a year, so even if my math is way off that’s plenty of room for error, and this 25$ for a year (or many years bc i won’t use it much) is WAY more cheap than anything out there. and you know the filter is done when the flow goes bad (finally dug up that answer). i saw another under sink for 50$ & 8000gal and the ones in the pitchers barely last long and we more expensive and take up excess space. this one hides away under the sink. another win. and look, even if you don’t care about tap water quality it’s better to be safe than sorry for just 25$ every few years, dead cheap. now install. well hindsight it is an easy install, just twisting some valves on/off/into existing piping to accommodate the filter. actually i was missing a tube that was later found, wow that makes a huge difference, obviously. it does come with...
