Waterdrop 15UB-UF 0.01m Under-Sink Ultrafiltration Water Filter System

northernwoman: We live in northern Ontario and the water tastes like lake water a lot of the time. This filter makes the water taste like it’s supposed to. Fresh odour free cold water. We used to drink water mixed with crystal light to disguise the bad taste. Not any more. Instructions were easy to understand and entire project took maybe half hour to install. Only question I have is, why a 1” hole? All you need is a 3/8” hole for threaded tube to fit into. Especially if you have to drill through a metal sink. Very pleased with product. And remember to run water for a few minutes to remove air bubbles and excess carbon before drinking.

Jacob: Fiddly to install, but not difficult. Stainless steel spout resists smudging and is easy to clean. Combined with a water softener, our water at home tastes better than bottled water.

LoveToShop: This filter was easy enough to install (installed by someone with home reno/repair experience).
The slim faucet takes up little space on the counter (1" hole needed), and not too much space under the counter is needed.
This eliminated our need to have a water purifier jug on the counter, and tastes great.
Good value.
Will update info once I'm able to test the quality of the water.

EricAllenEricAllen: Solid constructed filter. Small air bubbles were floating on the filtered water. I had never seen that before, as I had been using a 3M filter for 7 years. I asked the manufacturer for a replacement. They sent it in a few days. After getting the replacement, I cut open the 2-month-old filter. The filter was very well and solidly constructed. It looked better than the 3M filter that I had been using. It filtered water from microfiber cloth -> carbon block -> 0.01um membrane. Now I can understand better what I'm getting. But I can't live with the bubbles in the water.

So, I added the previous 3M filter after the 15UB-UF. i.e., water -> 15UB-UF -> 3M filter -> drinking water faucet. No more bubbles.

Mary: We spend hours on trying to install this. First we took off our existing faucet and installed the new faucet. We had problems installing the t junction as it was leaking. Went to ace once to get a new adapter nut thinking that was the problem. Then went to Ace to look for a whole new adapter, which they didn’t have. Went to Home Depot to look for another t junction, but they didn’t have one. After many trips we finally ordered a new one on Amazon. It was a Sunday and we didn’t want to take apart everything again and return it, when the new part came, it took a few minutes to hook up with no leaks. Finally happy. Luckily we got a deal on this on prime days.

Samantha D.: This system is amazing. We had the geekpure system which cost us about 3 cups of filtering water forn1 cup of filtered drinkable water , so lots of waste. I'm a total water snob and can't drink water with a "taste" the old one had taste. This one does not.
I would say this is sooooo close to Nestle purelife water it's incredible. Very clean with no taste. Used it for drinking and cooking so far and great.
I filled a 1.5 L jug in around 15 sec. Which is insane.

If you run your regular tap for a min and then run this , you'll get nice cold water !

Though this has no tank feature it is super fast. Even my old system didn't come out this quick! It's high pressure and filters right away.

Glad i found this, wish I found it the 1st time around LOL 😂

Chuckie: OK, this is a <24 hour review, may change things in a few months, BUT..... We refill our own 5 gallon H20 jugs. The GE system we had was pretty old--9 yrs? And at the end, it took like 13 minutes to fill 5 gallons!! And that was w/us replacing filters as instructed, so NOT a filter issue. In all fairness, when NEW, the GE would fill the jug in about 7 minutes. This Waterdrop system filled 5 gal in F-I-V-E minutes, +/- 30 seconds!! Also the old GE system filters needed to be replaced every 6 months, and the last set I bought cost $58.56 for the dual set---nearly $120 annual cost. The WD seems to have CONSIDERABLY more water pressure than the GE EVER did. No chlorine smell, clear water, no taste whatsoever--GE was same way on H20 taste/smell. Again, honeymoon stage, but VERY happy impressed as a new user!!!
