Kindle Customer: The bird bath is large, holds a lot of water and looks like a million bucks. It is very heavy duty plastic with a bird decoration and a very pretty base. I filled the column with sand to give it stability as I have a neighborhood cat that likes to drink out of it and bathes in the water. Its tall and elegant and looks great on my new patio. Worth the money!

fwood: I was really pleased with the look of this birdbath, and how easy it is to put together. It comes with stakes which are necessary if you’re setting it up on uneven ground. After having it up for several months, and no birds using it I finally removed the detachable fake bird because I thought it might be scaring them off. The same day I started seeing birds sipping out of it, so I recommend that you do not use that detachable bird.

Laurie: I saw this identical birdbath on another website for over $40, under a different brand name. I think it looks terrific in my garden. Nice height, good water volume, sturdy. I filled the hollow post with some rocks as suggested by another reviewer, and it's not going anywhere. I also removed the little bird sculpture, as another reviewer had done, because I too think it was scaring away the birds. I put the bird sculpture in one of my flower pots instead! I plan to bring it in for the winter so it doesn't freeze - but the last one I had that was made of similar material lasted for 10 years being outside year-round before it finally cracked. Very pleased with this purchase.

Doris C.: I bought this for the solar fountain. Several people did.
I didn’t listen…. Most said it is too shallow. The water will be gone in less than 20 minutes in summer or with a little wind.
But…. It is cute, for a bird feeder. Or maybe put water in it, but not with a fountain.
It is very light weight. You just need to stake it in the ground.
I’d buy again, for a feeder.
You could use it in a bathroom. Put magazines or pretty soap in it by your tub. That would be nice too.

Deborah L.: Very good although the ornamental bird isn’t very nice it looks more like a bird of prey with a weird face so I replaced it with another little stone bird which looks much better, if you are planning on putting a Fountain in this bird bath it’s probably not the best one as there is a little raised bit in the middle at the bottom so the fountain will not stick to it very well, nice little bird bath though.
