KenInCLT: Only drawback is that it's not really "non-stick". Used it this weekend to make burgers for grilling. Every patty comes out with the bottom disc stuck to it. I tried using cooking spray and that didn't really help. My burger recipe does have an egg and worcestershire sauce in it, so maybe they are a bit wetter than just regular ground beef. But the thickness was just right to make 1/4lb burgers - 2lbs of ground beef made exactly 8 burgers, all perfectly uniform in size and shape and so they all cooked equally. If it truly was non-stick, I would give it 5 stars. Love that you can just toss it in the dishwasher and it comes apart for easy cleaning. Not bad for the money, for sure!

Mandie Rose: I used this hamburger press for the first time last night. I broke down a 10 lb roll of hamburger meat and decided to turn some into 8 oz patties and some into 4 oz patties. By using a kitchen scale, this press and ziploc bags. It was nice when I realized that 8 oz of meat fills the whole press evenly. That means I may not need the scale every time so that's cool. And doing the thinner patties was a breeze because it made the meat very uniform and even. I didnt understand why the bottom plates are cut out of the press until I used it and then it made perfect sense. Now it's my favorite feature because it keeps the patties nice and easy to move into my baggies without destroying their shape. Anyway I love this press and I should get plenty of use out of it. It kinda makes me what to see what else I can turn into patties and freeze and I'm going to be trying it with making some salmon patties as well. And possibly even some veggie patties in the future. Even though it's designed to do one thing, I will figure out ways to do multiple things with this product. I can even shape dough or use it to make circular items like doughnuts, bagels or cookies. But I realize it's for shaping meat.

Joanna ZJoanna Z: Amazing! I've been attempting stuffed burgers for awhile now and they never come out right. My first attempt with the stuffed burger press was a success.I love this little gadget.
My go-to recipe is, per pound of meat, 1 egg, a big handful of parmesan cheese, fresh diced onions or dried minced if you must, garlic powder, pepper, salt of course, a couple of dashes of Italian seasoning, about half an 8-oz can or a bit more of Hunts tomato sauce with basil, oregano, and garlic, and about half a cup or so of oats - I mix oats and flaxseed and nutritional yeast if I have it (keeping it lower carb). You can also add mozarella or cheddar cheese. This makes a really savory little meatloaf.
I thought it Easy to use and easy to clean. You can put anything and everything inside your burgers!
I'm a costumer for life. Burger press is awesome.
