Marge Reinkr: The guards fit my pole barn gutters, but would not fit my house gutters, so I returned the one box that we didn't use any out of, the other partial box that we used part of, I kept and paid for, now I've gotten an email from you saying that I didn't return any of the merchandise and i was refunded for it, and I charge for it, if not returned by October 29th. I don't understand, since here you know that everything has been completed. Thank you

Jin: The product was worked well. Takes a bit of time to install the covers, but you can pretty much snap them in without using any tools. I don't know about longevity as I just put them in.

But in each box there are some defective pieces. I ordered 9 boxes of 25 and had 14 pieces that defective as it, they did not come with the screen covers. And I couldn't return them because I didn't get started on the job until it was too late. So, be sure to inspect the item before the return deadline... :-( Top it off, I had to run to Home Depot to buy the additional pieces that I needed to finish the job.

Taylor: Easy to install. It's plastic so easy to cut if necessary. Some people complaining about the mesh glue. I understand, but a problem easy to fix. Just buy a few tubes of long lasting outdoor cauck or outdoor glue and apply where needed.
And since there plastic, if they get dirty after using in time, buy a bottle of Spray-Nine and clean them. Spray-Nine works best for cleaning purposes. In the end, going on the roof one time every 3-4 years is better than every other week.
In my true opinion, this product is great, works great, East to install, easy to edit if necessary, and easy to clean if necessary.
I would highly recommend.
And BTW.... I live in country type of area with a lot of trees.
Don't listen to negative reviews. The product is great and the problems with this product are easy to edit or fix yourself.

D. WilliamsD. Williams: My house has a couple large trees nearby so I put these exact shields on my house over 10 years ago. I focused on the tree exposed areas and didn’t cover all the gutters. I live in the Midwest and I just clipped them to the gutters at that time. Overall, they worked great so when I was looking to replace them and fully cover all my gutters, I looked at a variety of options but couldn’t really justify spending 4-5x more on metal gutter shields. The two layered approach on these - fine mesh over a plastic screen - works well. The main issue has been that a few sections will slip off the outer gutter edge (they kind of clip on) and have to be re-seated from time to time. Since some of my gutters are 20+ feet high, I wanted a solution that would stay in place. Based on the last 10 years, I’d offer a couple observations for a project like this.

1. These work best for leaves and larger debris. Smaller debris can get stuck in the holes and gaps, but will wash off eventually.
2. A heavy rain will overwhelm gutter shields and spill some water over the gutter edge - especially at corners where two roof lines come together. Screen or mesh covers will overflow.
3. The world...
