William JohnsonWilliam Johnson: Came a little bent, but otherwise good condition. Fit perfectly on my 6 inch gutters, snapped right in. Popes some screws in and it’s solid. I installed 100’ in about 90 mins Cheapest quote was 400$ for practically the same product. Very happy so far. We’ll see if it causes any issues will spill over when the next downpour hits, but I’m optimistic. At least it won’t be full of leaves.

Howard Johnston: Good deal for the quality being a lifetime product. I would buy again as easy to install with a good fitment. They don't come with screws which is the only downside but other then that a great choice.

LN: My gutters are 5" and these fit well. There are no visible portions showing from below. I prefer these screw down rather than the clip in style. I wouldn't want to see the drain holes bigger. They work really well and make cleaning the gutters easy. I get a lot of short pine needles and they blow or sweep off.

Dave: Installed about 45’ today with an inside corner. Took about an hour. Tin snips worked well to angle cut for the inside corner. The holes are also at a 45* angle, providing a great cutting guide. The overlap notches are super helpful, too. For our application, it was installed behind the drip edge for a great fit (the included instructions showed the install to the front of the drip edge, but in our case, that wouldn’t have worked). The only suggestion would be to include screws - 1/2 self-tapping worked perfectly.

CB_Canada: We installed this on a 2-story house so understandably we didn't want a product that required a lot of messing around at height. This snaps into the gutter like nothing on the straightaways. We started in one corner, made our 45 degree joints, and worked out from there. 150 feet of installation took 3 hours including cleanup with one person working in a safety harness and another acting to manage the rope length. We had 6 sections that required 22 degree cuts as the roof followed a curve which was time consuming when you are 25 feet high and can't see the entire work area. On a bungalow using standard ladders I could see an entire house getting done in 1 hour.

Make sure you order the matching stainless screws from the same vendor, or source #8 stainless sheet metal screws locally. Avoid the temptation to get cheap zinc plated screws - they will rust and stain. This is definitely a do-it-yourself job with the right equipment. A safety harness with tether cost $90 and we got it done for less than half for what people quoted.

MGB: This gutter guard model does not work well with nail in hidden type fasteners especially on the high side of the running slope. Due to these nail fastened brackets extend further back than the screw in type that these guards are formed to be used with.

Terry: The product is highly recommended. But be aware that there are different sized gutters - 4", 5" and 6". Next do not get a flimsy gutter guard. Also, it is safer to use a ladder for installation rather than to lean over the roof. Most gutter guards do not come with screws. But self tapping screws # 8X1/2" are readily available and are inexpensive. 100 screws are about $10-12. Installation is not at all difficult. Still, as well as the product works, I would still make a yearly visual check from a ladder once a year. Remove a single gutter guard near a leader and send a stream of water through the gutter to clear any debris that may have slipped through the tiny holes, e.g. pine needles - as the product is almost, but not quite perfect.

PLE: I got a quote on a gutter install and decided I would skip the install of a gutter guard and install a Gutter brush myself. (Of course, I'm sure I'm in the majority who gets an upsell to do the roof after the salesman checks things out.) I researched a little and I came a cross these Amazon Recommended A-M Gutter Guards, which were $100 cheaper than the Gutter Brush, and, more importantly, were designed to eliminate the need for annual cleaning for most people. I knew it was going to be a little more work having to screw them in, but the long term rewards would make it worth it. I really don't like going up on a ladder, and my yard is uneven making it all that more difficult. Plus, I'm getting up there in age at 67, so I want to go up there as little as possible.

My original plan was to install these while on the roof, but it was really hard to see what was going on in that position. The first section I tried would not go in place. So, I moved the ladder under the gutter, and the problem was that the roofers forgot to screw in one of the gutter mounts. I could not see that from above. So, at that point, I decided to do the whole job from the ladder.
