It looks good in a green garden.

The negative:
1. It's too deep for birds to bathe in. We would often see birds enter our previous bird bath. We've rarely seen birds land on this one, much less enter it.

2. It cracked after the first freeze of the season. If you live in an area where it does get below freezing and still decide to buy this bird bath, you'll have to remember to empty it or put it away before the first freeze of the season or get a bird bath heater and hope it works well enough to stop it from cracking.

ChefShelleyJaffeChefShelleyJaffe: I never like to review something until I have used it long enough to establish its durability. This is a really beautiful fountain. Aesthetically it is really well designed. It is stable, even in our Florida storms. I would take it in during a hurricane, but it held up fine during a tropical wave. I have no added any weight to the base, I just wiggled it and sunk it into the sand a bit.
The bowl is easy to remove from the base for cleaning. It is a bit deep, so adding some rocks on one side that are at the edge of or just under water will come in handy for some breeds of birds, as well as the pollinators. So far I have found native pollinators drinking from it, cardinals bathing in it very early in the morning, and something drinking from it at night because the water level drops considerably. Whatever that is has not knocked it over. Last night there were even some squirrel tree frogs singing by it, so they might have gone for a swim, or were there to catch insects from the fountain light attracting them.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. And by adding a fountain, you don't have to worry about mosquitos laying eggs in there. It really adds to the beauty of our...

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: DO NOY PURCHASE THIS ITEM. As with previous customers these fall to pieces as shown in photos attached.
Yes they look good, however, the quality build/process has failed, they don’t work. Birds require baths all year, even this year with it being exceptionally mild, it fell to bits.
I CANNOT STRESS HIGHLY ENOUGH - THESE ARE RUBBISH. I had to select one star to complete the review, however, NO STARS FROM ME !!!!

E.O.E.O.: Have to change my review - This bird bath literally crumbled and fell apart over the winter. Total waste of money for me! Only had it in the yard for 6 months. Terrible.
