The AISITIN 3.5W Solar Fountain Pump is the perfect addition to any bird bath, fish tank, pond, or garden. This solar-powered water pump is equipped with a 1500mAh battery and 6 nozzles to create a variety of spraying styles. Its compact size makes it easy to store and its low maintenance design offers comfort. This solar aerator pump is the best water garden and pond pump on the market due to its easy to use design, suction power, and durability.Moardeeb: Our summer just destroyed this little fountain in about 2 months, so if you live in extreme heat like we do, maybe spend a little more on a more durable solar device.

D. Phillips: This product worked well the first time I put it in the water. I notice it doesn't work constantly. It goes on and off. Might be the solar/sun. It was easy to set up. Looks nice. Floats around my pond all day.

Frances L.: Works really great, but it does not last very long. It DEFINITELY needs to be kept in sunlight, otherwise it quits working. It is a good product.

David: I've used this for two full summers, and this is the beginning of my third year of ownership.
The good: My bird bath gets full sun in the morning until about 11:00. That's it. After 11:00 it's in full shade. Despite this, the fountain works into the early afternoon before it starts to cycle on and off as it cuts off to recharge the battery, then turns on and runs for a minute or two before shutting off again. Today, since it was fully charged, it ran all day and didn't shut off until sundown.
The bad: The fountain works a little too well. If you don't have a self filling bird bath like I do, expect to have to refill your bird bath multiple times on windy days, or to have it just "bubble" the water by not using a nozzle to keep it from spraying the water so high. I wish they had provided nozzles with bigger holes. When I first got it my bird bath was not yet self filling. I tried it out on a very windy day and it took all of 5 minutes before the bird bath was drained!
More bad? The fountain easily clogs. Expect to have to clean it on a regular basis. If you are refilling your bird bath by hand this shouldn't be a big deal. But if you're using this in a pond or...

KaarinKaarin: The media could not be loaded. I purchased this solar fountain in the early spring and have been using it since March. It took some trial and error to get it working sustainably the way I wanted. The instructions that come with it aren't the best and the pictures of the different fountain heads are small and hard to see which one does what. I was looking for a more of a "burbling" effect rather than a spray. More water noise. I finally figured out just to use the shortest attachment with the least spray holes. As others have written, the suction cups just won't stay stuck on most surfaces. I happened to have 3 ceramic "frog" plant container feet that I placed around the edge of the fountain to keep it grounded. This has kept it in place so that it doesn't empty the bird bath and it looks kind of cool too! The built in battery will keep the fountain going long after the sun isn't hitting it anymore. Plus it will automatically shut off if there is too little water, thus saving the pump. Only 4 stars just because of the suction cups and skimpy instructions.

Cathy Hart: I haven’t had a chance to set this fountain up yet but this is my second solar fountain. The first one lasted a couple summers. This one looks a little more substantial and I am hopeful it will provide as much pleasure as the first one. It is a lovely addition to the garden

Diane Borduas: The fountain works well and was a nice addition to aerate the water in my bird bath.
Unfortunately there are two issues that combined to make it impractical for my purposes.
1). The suction cups intended to hold it in place are much too small.
2). The water level range required for it to work is too narrow.
It is a Catch 22 situation:
- Making the water level low enough for the suction cups to engage means the water level soon drops due to evaporation and some water spraying outside the birdbath due to wind. This then stops the fountain until more water is added.
- Making the water level deeper does not help. The suction cups will not hold so the unit floats to the edge of the bird bath; water loss over the side via the spray is increased; water level drops surprisingly quickly and the fountain stops working until water is added.
I really wanted to like this fountain but poor design engineering makes it too labour intensive to operate.
Returned for refund.

PammyPammy: I really want to love this solar fountain. It works really well, however, no matter which nozzle I use, the fountain is too powerful and the water spouts up and goes beyond the birdbath so it drains in no time. Drains even faster if there is even a small breeze. Disappointed!
Needs to have about 50% less power so that the water only reaches 6 to 8 inches in the air. I need to find something with a little less power. Will be returning.
Would work really well for a pond or a very large birdbath. Still 4 stars because it does work well. That said the suction cups are useless.

D: It works right away. I repurposed a children's sandbox as a water feature. I read the reviews of others and it does float to the end and spray water out of the basin so I followed the advice of placing a ring of rocks to create an inner border. I don't need to refill the water because the sandbox has lots of water. I don't fill it very high as I need to change the water so debris doesn't get stuck in the filter. The holes from the different spouts get clogged but can be cleared out. It doesn't seem to spout out the volume of water shown in the picture but it looks good and I can hear it.
