liz: I’ve tried many insoles. These are great if you have tenderness under your feet or toes.

Ruth: Out of desperation I ordered these inserts. I had paid close to $500 just months before for perscription orthodics but I felt like they threw me around and didn't help with my ankle roll to the inside. These Ailaka inserts do a great job to support my arches and I'm walking more comfortably with less stress on my knees. Well worth the cost!

Lo: These are the only insoles on the market that i have liked thus far. They're decently priced, give wonderful arch support and are thicker than others I've looked at. My father tested them out himself and decided that my purchase was my gift for him, so I guess that I'll need to stock up.

Sam: Plantar Fasciitis Relief Arch Support Insoles are fabulous for relieving the pain in my feet. I must have spent hours researching insoles for my slippers and shoes and I'm so glad that I chose these. I didn't want to waste money on insoles that might appear to be supportive on my arches and then flatten very quickly, or just feel like thin, cheap rubbish from the start. I have managed to get these insoles to last me months (with washing) and I do wear them pretty much every day. Obviously, no insole is going to last forever but I can get a lot of wear out of them before I need to replace them for new ones. These insoles just feel really comfy without feeling too hard on the bottom of your feet. I think they fit as expected because I could easily cut them to fit my shoe size.

David J. Rost: Most shoe inserts don't provide a significant level of arch support. The Ailaka inserts provide true high arch support and I can comfortably stand for long periods of time with these inserts. They are also very comfortable. They are the best shoe inserts I have ever purchased.

Zippy: I have flat feet, and was advised by a doctor to use arch support insoles in my shoes. I've been buying the things for years, and I've tried many different types. I recently found these ones, which worked perfectly for me and I have now bought several pairs of them.

Everyone's feet are different, the perfect insole for one person might be terrible for someone else, so any review like this is going to be a bit subjective. I'll try and focus on quality and value as well as their performance.

I am a UK size 9, and I ordered according to the sizing guide in the description. When the insoles arrived they were stamped with 'L' for 'Large'. They required cutting to fit my boots. The sizing guide for these insoles is slightly large - having tried other sizes recently, I feel that a 'medium' insole fits a UK size 9 much better than the Large that is recommended. A UK 10 will definitely need the Large.

The insoles look high quality. The materials and colours are well chosen. The fabric on the top surface is slippy enough that you can slide a Chelsea boot on, but still has enough grip that the boot doesn't slide about underfoot. The black is classy, unlike the lairy...

Carolyn: I bought two pair. First inserted in new garden clogs with a built in arch. They were the best thing I ever put my feet into. I didn't even want to take them off at night after perfect comfort and a full day of no leg pain. That gives them five stars!
Second pair went in to leather loafers with minimal existing arch support. They feel comfortable with no leg pain so far, but I plan to change back to the first pair. This arch support is not adequate for flat feet with pronation without a substantial existing arch built in to the shoe. They don't claim to be extreme orthotics though, so they are near perfect for what they are, including the price.
If they made a sturdier, higher support insole I would buy it. The cover fabric is too synthetic for my skin comfort, it would not bother most people though. They were easy to cut to size. I recommend them and hope they will make a sturdier, stand alone version for sandals and loafers.

Compassion2022: I have put them in my PB shoes and I will try them out tomorrow. If I love them I will come back and update this to 5 stars. At first look they seem well made, comfortable , easy to fit the shoe. I hope that the shock absorption is awesome !

Jonathan Boyd: I recently got some new work boots, and, being that any shoe without decent arch support causes me a nightmare of pain and discomfort, I tried several insoles with them. The boots are a bit big, so I assumed I'd need a space-filling insole, yet none of the ones I tried did much for me. Some of them were quite expensive.

In my desperation to make the boots work, I found these Ailaka insoles while searching for semi-rigid ones. I learned while doing long-distance hiking that a more rigid insole, particularly in the heel, is VASTLY BETTER THAN A HEAVILY CUSHIONED ONE. I put that in caps because this is not common knowledge, and it needs to be, so let me repeat that.

A rigid insole is generally much better than a heavily cushioned one. Forget the gel. Forget the softness. You want the heal to be locked in, which prevents movement, which creates pain and blisters. More than any other factor, the heel fit determines whether a shoe will continue to work correctly as you move.

Anyway, I tried these in sort of a hail Mary effort to make the boots usable, and I didn't expect much because of the price. However, after using them for more than a week, spending over 8 hours...

Darren B.: Knee problems eh?! Who’d have them?! Both of these questions are rhetorical.

Sadly, I had found out that I had ‘collapsed arches’ after it was too late. But what are collapsed arches? And, what is too late? Well, the arches are things that should have been making arch like shapes between the base of my heel and beef toe (but in my case weren’t) and ‘too late’ is after finding out you probably need a second knee operation.

I had never felt my arches collapse or ever heard a sudden THUD as the concentration of my not-insignificant mass shifted to a different point. I can only assume I have sub-standard genes and was born this way. Thanks, Mum and Dad! First I’m brought into this world against my will and now THIS!

However, I do have reasons to be cheerful. And one of these reasons is my glossy new Ailaka Orthotic Cushion Arch Support Shoe Insoles. Now I have to buy shoes that are half a size too big, before sliding these in for the optimal fit.

When worn, the sturdy plastic under the inserts is moulded such that it gently persuades my feet to mimic the shapes of a “real man’s” arch. I have long since been averse to mimic anything about...
