Ashley McClenahanAshley McClenahan: Moved into a house that has hardwood stairs and are very slippery. I'm already clumsy enough and was 8 months pregnant so we got these. We have had them for a year and a half and they are holding up great! Even with my daughter (15 months) and dog climbing up. A few are starting to lift up because of my daughter but they haven't moved. They stick so nicely. The design does fade in a few months but it didn't bother me. I feel they also dampen the echo when someone goes up or down the stairs. I haven't tried washing them, we just vaccum the stairs. Great buy!

AgostinoAgostino: Ho trovato quello che cercavo, prezzo e qualità. Mi servivano dei tappetini per salvare le scale da eventuali danni e questi tappetini fanno ampiamente il loro lavoro. Non serve la colla per metterli, in questo modo si possono staccare e riattaccare non scivolano, ma se si vuole la perfezione basta un buon biadesivo ai bordi è il gioco è fatto. Per il momento sono eccellenti vedremo con il tempo ma per quello che costano sono soddisfatto. Solo un consiglio pulite bene la scala con uno swiffer e sbattete fuori i tappetini così cadono un po di pelucoli.

Marc Perl-michelMarc Perl-michel: Der erste Eindruck war okay, doch auf den Treppenstufen enttäuschen die Auflagen komplett. Zum einen haften sie gar nicht auf dem komplett gereinigten Untergrund und zum anderen sind die Matten so Wellig, dass sie eine echte Stolperfalle sind.

Wenn ich einen passenden Karton finde, dann schicke ich die Dinger zurück – die sind meiner Meinung nach gemeingefährlich.

Auch musste ich eine Matte absaugen. Dabei zeigte sich, dass die Matte gleich ab Sauger hängen blieb. Sie kleben einfach nicht auf dem Untergrund, sondern haften gerade so, dass die nicht verrutschen.

Amazon Customer: I bought this item in two colors (grey and beige). Installed the grey first and I was very happy with the overall look and ease of installation. I had a totally different experience with the beige. The backing was not nearly as adhesive and did not stick to the stairs at all. They also didn't lay flat (even though when I unpackaged them, I lay them out for several days before attempting install). Basically, the beige ones curled up at the edges creating a major trip hazard. The stairs on which I installed the grey ones are exactly the same as the stairs on which I was trying to install the beige so I know it's not an issue with my hardwood. Just seems like I got a defective product, so I have returned the beige.

I would have given this product 4-5 stars if I had just bought the grey. And probably only one star had I just bought the beige. Splitting the difference and giving it 3 stars. Will update as I see how the grey ones hold up.

Hayley wuHayley wu: My wooden stairway looks old and its a little bit noise when we walking up and down, so I decided to buy some carpet treads in order to reduce the noise. Just opened box and they look good.

Frankly, $40 for 15 pieces stair treads is reasonable price, I don’t expect too much for the quality. Easy to install, just remove the plastic film and put them on stairway. The size is amazingly fit my stairway space within the edge trim(As shown in pic 2), even though it’s not super adhesive but still works great on my stairway. And it really helps to keep quiet when my family walking up and down.

In shortly, We all love it and highly recommended!

Rupi: I've used this for 4 months now, and they are still in great shape. We got this so our dog wouldn't scratch the hardwood stairs and also so he wouldn't slip. The design is really nice and they in place. I haven't tried washing them yet though (I probably should). The size is perfect for standard stairs.
Also vacuums nicely too. And was very easy to install.

We have hardwood stairs leading up to our second floor and they are beautiful, however, we have 3 small dogs so needed something to add some traction to make it safer for the dogs. I did not want a carpet runner because I still wanted to be able to see more of the stairs. These look GREAT and were so easy to put on. They make the stairs look super cute and make them safer for both the dogs and us. They are not glued down or anything either so they do not damage the stairs/wood, however, they also do not slide around. I use a little hand held vacuum to clean them and it works great. They are also machine washable, however, I have not done that yet. I would highly recommend these !

LizLiz: For their easy, quick installation (5 minutes), not needing tape or glue the adhesion seems pretty good so far, and the fact that my dog might finally come upstairs to sleep in my bed with me, I give it 5 stars. The only thing I’m unhappy with is the style. Light grey was out of stock so I got dark grey. They’re more charcoal, and they feel very industrial, although the pattern certainly shows effort for style. In January, I’ll try the light grey when back in stock. At this point, I just want my pup to not slip down the stairs, so I’d say it’s a winner for that reason alone. The price was great, too.
