Ian: Getting a hold of their helpline is extremely difficult I'm sure they do that so you don't bother them never did get a hold of them I have ordered two of these and I've had the same problem with each one, intermittent wind speed indications I'm debating whether to order another head but I'm leaning towards not doing it because of their poor customer service and the fact that the item does not last

G-Man: External temperature reader quit on an older one, about 5 years old. Ordered this (I have 2 readers already, due to prior unit going bad after 5 years or so.) since I did not need a reader. Batteries in, synced up with both readers right away. Put one pole and moved on. I will note that the inside units, which used to sync up the date and time from some other units, now do not update. After waiting 4 days, I finally had to manually set the date and time....which makes the moon phase indicator work right. Not sure why they don't synce any more. Overall, not bad for the price, saves buying a whole new system.

angel cornejo: Precio accesible, lo compre en oferta de mil cien a 700; es exacto en las mediciones de viento, temperatura exterior e interior, porque lo he comparado con otras estaciones que tengo de la misma marca, aunque modelos diferentes; EL PERO ES QUE APROXIMADAMENTE A LOS 3 AÑOS DE USO DEJA DE TRANSMITIRLE SEÑAL A LA PANTALLA, había leído comentarios al respecto y los comprobé en carne propia. Así que el promedio de vida de este artefacto es de 3 años. No conozco a alguien que repare este artefacto, por lo menos en la ciudad de Campeche, México, por lo que se tiene que comprar de nuevo. La pantalla tiene un promedio de vida superior, ya llevo con ella 5 años y no presenta falla o deterioro alguno. Lo recomiendo por la relación costo beneficio, solo que habría que tener en cuenta el detalle anterior.

Christine: Tellement contente d'avoir trouvé cet station météo. Mon a reçu il y a plus de 8 ans le kit et dernièrement la partie extérieur ne fonctionnait plus . Heureusement j'ai trouvé le morceau et j'ai pas à acheter le tout . C'est connecté immédiatement avec le moniteur . Aucun problème avec.

Purchaser2016: This was a replacement after 8 years when the wind gauge failed. Easy to install with one screw because of my modular take down 12 foot mast on the roof. Much better improvement in temp and humidity that matches my other sensors within one point or zero point error. Works with my old display on all channels. While here I want to say that the AcuRite rain stand alone gauges are a total failure. Over the years I have had to replace or repair them dozens of times and the man hour lost is a waste. None of them every match. So, I built a rain gauge IAW the NWS model (they cost $80-$125) and used a cheap $10 , 1-7/8 inch glass insert. It works perfect and correct.
